Chapter 23:You Have What?!!!

Continued from last chapter
Kai's POV
Convo-
Her- I have Hepatitis B and I got it from Mike
Me- wait what?
Her- yep I been had it for a while now
Me- how long have you had it?
Her- about 7 months
Me- well the last time that I slept with Mike was over 9 months ago so I can't possibly have it but why am I just now hearing about this?
Her- because I just developed an infection from it because it wasn't treated properly
Me- you better hope that I haven't contracted this disease or I'm coming after you and Mike. Now goodbye I don't need you ruining my baby shower
Her- why are you being so hostile?
Me- because I'm tired of you and Mike always popping up trying to ruin my happiness. All y'all two do is cause me trouble
Her- how have we caused you trouble?
Me- well first you slept with Mike and got pregnant by him after I had our son. Next you gave me chlamydia after transferring it to Mike. Then you had Daniel break into my house and plant drugs to frame me. I also lost my baby because of the stress that I was under with dealing with Mike. Shall I go on?
Her- no I get it but what about the trouble you caused me?
Me- what did I possibly do to you except for beat your ass at the hospital?
Her- well I guess you're right but Mike still loves you. He told me so himself
Me- so I don't care y'all enjoy each other and your child. I gotta a man that I love and that's clearly not Mike
Her- but I'm not happy
Me- that's not my problem like I said when he slept with you he became your problem not mines now you can see yourself out
*She walked away just as my mom and Dwayne came up to me. Dwayne handed me the plate as I began to feed MJ as he sat in my lap.*
Convo-
Mom- so what was that all about?
Me- nothing major she was just getting on my nerves
Dwayne- you ok?
Me- yeah I'm fine but she did say something that I should be worried about
Them- what was it?
Me- she told me that she got Hepatitis B from Mike around 7 months ago
Dwayne- but you haven't slept with Mike in almost a year tho right?
Me- yeah that's true but I wanna go and get checked just in case
Dwayne- ok when we going?
Me- you don't have to go with me
Him- yes I do I want too plus this could affect our family so we need to know
Me- okay whatever you say
Him- anyways you ready to open up these gifts?
Me- yeah I guess
*We opened up the gifts. My mom and dad got us 5 sets of baby girl clothes along with diapers. Terri and Gabe got us some toys along with diapers. Everyone else brought diapers, bibs, pacifiers, and bottles. After we opened up the gifts we played a few games then we left.
Dwayne's POV
*After the baby shower was over we headed home. Kai was complaining about her back hurting so I gave her a massage and she went to sleep. While she was sleep I checked on the kids and worked on the new baby's room. I painted the room pink and put the purple crib into the room along with a changing table and rocking chairs. I also put a small dresser in there with the baby's clothes. Then I went downstairs and made myself a plate of wings that was left over from the baby shower. While I was eating Damien came running downstairs.*
Convo-
Me- whoa slow down kid
Damien- uncle dee come quick aunt Kai peed in the bed
Me- did she?
Him- yeah she did and she told me to come get you
*I put my plate down and ran upstairs to my room. Kai was laying on the bed clutching her stomach. I noticed that she was lying in a puddle of water. I grabbed my keys and picked her up. I carried her to the car and placed her in the front seat. I also got MJ and Damien situated in the back seat. Then I grabbed the pre made baby bag and sat it in the trunk. Finally I got into the drivers seat and headed toward the hospital. I got Damien and MJ out first. I made them sit in the chairs in the ER while I got Kai out of the car. A nurse came out and put Kai in a wheelchair while I held MJ as Damien walked beside me. The nurse wheeled Kai into a room and made her change into a hospital gown. While all that was going down I called Kai's mom.*

Angela- hey Dwayne what's up?
Me- hey Kai's water just broke and we're at the hospital now
Her- ok I'm omw
*I hung up the phone with her and called my mom and dad. My dad answered the phone.*
Convo(otp)-
Daniel Sr.- what's up son
Me- hey dad where's mom?
Him- she's right here but she's sleep so what's up
Me- well wake her up and tell her that Kai's water broke and she's getting ready to go into labor
Him- aight son you ready to be a dad?
Me- yes sir I am
Him- ok then we're on our way
Me- alright
*After I hung up with him I called Terri because I know Kai would kill me if I didn't. She answered on the second ring.*
Convo(otp)-
Terri- hello
Me- hey Terri
Her- hey Dwayne what's up is something wrong?
Me- nah just Kai's water broke and she's about to go into labor
Her- omg ok I'm omw tell her don't bring my goddaughter into this world without me being there
Me- okay
*After I hung up with her I stepped back into the room and saw Kai laying on the bed eating ice chips.*
Convo-
Me- hey babe how are you feeling?
Her- I'm okay I'm just ready to get this baby out of me
Me- that's good well I called your mom, Terri, and my mom. So they're on their way
Her- okay well tell them to hurry because I feel like I'm going into labor now
*The doctor walked in and checked her vitals. Then she looked at her chart and got a shocked look on her face.*
Convo-
Me- what's wrong doc?
Doc- well I'm looking at her chart and it shows that she has contracted Hepatitis B but it hasn't turned into an infection although it has been untreated
Kai- wait what? I have Hepatitis B and I didn't even know it. Why haven't I shown any symptoms?
Doc- you haven't shown any symptoms because you're completely healthy but the disease will go away on its own but I just thought that you should know
Kai- okay thanks doc
Me- so doc will I have to get tested as well?
Doc- you will if you haven't had the vaccine for it
Me-ok
Kai- enough about that am I dilated enough yet?
Doc- no not yet you're only 3 cm
Kai- that's it?
Doc- I'll be back to check on you in bout an hour
Kai- okay
*She leaves and it's just us. About 15 minutes later Kai's parents walked in along with Terri, Gabe, and Luca. They all hugged me and sat down in the chairs.*
Terri- so how many cm are you dilated?
Kai- only 3 but I'm ready to get this baby out of me
Angela- so have y'all decided on a name yet?
Me- we thought about a few names but hadn't officially decided on one
~10 hours later~
*Kai was finally dilated 10 cm. The doctor came in and Kai was sitting up ready to give birth. The doctor got in between Kai's legs and told her to push. Since this was such a special moment for me I was recording Kai giving birth.
Doctor's POV
*As miss Jackson gave birth to her healthy baby girl I felt another baby's head trying to come.*
Convo-
Me- uh miss Jackson you need to push again
Kai- what do you mean I'm not having another baby am I?
Me- actually you are and it looks like it's a another girl so give me one big push
Her- wait why didn't I know that I was pregnant with more than one baby? I only saw one on the ultrasound
Me- well from the looks of it baby b was more than likely hiding behind baby a but anyways give me another big push
*She gave me one big push and out came baby #2 which was a girl also. I gave the second baby to the father too and he cut the umbilical cord.*
Me- miss Jackson sorry to say you need to push one more time
Kai- omg fine
*She pushed one last time and out came baby #3 which was a boy. I handed him to his father while the nurse and I helped clean Kai up.
Me- so miss Jackson what are their names?
Kai- let Dwayne decide he's their father *eyes close and the machine starts beeping*
Me- she's coding everyone please step out of the room. Nurse bring me a crash cart
*We had to give her fluids because she was severely dehydrated and we had to give her more oxygen. A while later she came to. So I stitched her up and then I had the father bring the babies in so she could see them before we put them in the incubators.*
Dwayne's POV
*I brought the babies back into the room so Kai could see them. She held the two girls as I held our son. She also fed them as well.*
Convo-
Kai- babe have you named them yet?
Me- yes I have. Our sons name is Dwayne Antrell Smith Jr. Our daughters names are Avani Tisa Smith and Ria Isabella Smith
Her- awe those names are pretty I like them
Me- so Terri do you want to hold your godson?
Terri- of course I do
*I handed DJ to her while Kai handed Avani to her mom and Ria to my mom.*
Rochelle- awe they're so cute and precious
Me- thank you
Angela- so since y'all have triplets instead of one baby how are y'all going to handle 5 kids?
Kai- ma we'll make it work anyways where's MJ and Damien?
Me- oh they're over there playing with our dads
*After everyone stopped gushing over our kids the nurse put them into their incubators and wheeled them out but not before having us sign their birth certificates. Once the nurse left our families started to leave too. Kai's parents also took MJ and Damien with them so Kai could get some sleep and so I can have some free time to remodel the babies room. I didn't leave the hospital yet because Kai wanted me to stay.*
Convo-
Kai- Dwayne I'm never letting you get me pregnant again. 3 babies?! Like omg I wasn't expecting that. I'm not having any more kids
Me- wait Avani and Ria need another older brother
Her- no they don't they have DJ and MJ. That's enough for them
Me- ok whatever but we made some pretty kids together
Her- yeah we did. It's all said and done but I love you Dwayne and I love the three beautiful kids we created
Me- I love you too
