Chapter 26

Catalina POV

Tatlong araw nang hindi gumigising si Andreas. Grabe ang natamo niyang mga injuries from the accident. At pinag babawalan ako nang Lola niya na maka pasok sa kwarto nito. Eto ang palagi naming pinag aawayan. I normally respect elders pero kung maka pang husga etong matandang ito akala mo kung sinong malinis. 

"Leave! My grandson don't need you here. Ikaw ang dahilan kung bakit nabangga siya!" Bugaw saakin nang matanda. 



"Bakit ho, ako ho ba yung nag mamaneho nang kotse naka bundol sa kanya? And from what I understand YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO THROW ME OUT. Andreas is my husband at ako ang may mas karapatan sa kanya! Kung ayaw niyo sa akin then you better get out of my way dahil mas lalong ayaw ko rin sayo!!!" I turned my back on her. Nakakairita! 

"Aba ang bastos mo ah. Hindi ka marunong gumalang sa nakakatanda sayo!" Sabay sampal sa akin. 

"Galang? Bakit do you deserve my respect?? Ikaw nga, ang tanda tanda niyo na hindi mo alam kung ano ang ibig sabihin nang RESPECT! I treat people the way I'm treated. GUARD! GUARD! Palabasin niyo nga etong babae na to. Nakaka disturbo sa pasyente!" Sigaw ko sa guard. 



"Hindi pa tayo tapos Catalina!" banta nito sa akin. 

"Andreas gumising kana.. I miss you!" I kiss his forehead. "I will never fight with you. Please Babe wake up kana!" Napaluha ako kakatitig sa kanya. Nakakaawa siyang tingnan. Kung hindi lang sana ako tumakbo hindi sana siya ma aksidente. 


Kina-ilangan kong bumalik sa office dahil may mga importanting papers pa akong  pepermahan. I called Mama Ann-Marie to come and watch Andreas habang nasa office ako and thank god she agreed. 


"Ma salamat talaga ha." I gave her a hug and kiss.

"It's nothing anak. I can take care of my son not  a big deal. Don't worry I will call you once may nag bago okay? Don't stress yourself too much. Hindi nakakabuti sa kalusogan mo yan Anak. Sige na pumasok kana at ako na ang bahala dito sa anak ko!" I left the hospital at dumirtso na sa office. 



"Ms.Garcia, everything's ready na po for you to  sign. I went through all the details and they're all legit and well revised. Just please take your time and re evaluate just in case I missed something." Tugon ni Bryce. 


"No Bryce. I trust you. I'll right sign all the papers." Nag umpisa na akong mag sign. 



"Ma'am, are you okay? You don't look good. Do you need me to grab you something to eat or drink?" Worried nitong  tanong. 



"I'm just stress Bryce. Grabe yung lola ni Andreas. Napaka demonya!!! I can't believe the nerve of that old lady." It's funny how I rant and he just listen. 

"Old generations they tend to forget that we're in a new ERA!" How did I get so lucky with him. He's a good listener and a good person to lend on. 



"Funny. Thank you! Thank you for everything that you do Bryce. Hindi ko alam kong paano kita susuklian. I tried to promote you pero ayaw mo! Bakit ba? Gusto mo sunod sunoran nalang sa akin habang buhay?" Now that I am the CEO of the Garcia Empire it put a  lot of pressure on me. Every move I do may naka bantay. 



"Because I like working with you. It seems like I made you my mission to serve and protect." Biro nito. 



"Bakit? wala ka bang balak mag asawa? Do you even have a girlfriend?" Malapit nang matapos ang mga papers na pinipermahan ko. Pero naka tayo lang si Bryce na tila nag dadalawang isip kung sasagutin ba ang tanong ko o hindi. 



"Girlfriend po? Not allowed. Diba it's one of your rules! NO GIRLFRIEND ALLOWED.!" hahaha funny. I did say that before I hired him. 



" Okay I changed my mind. Now you can have a girlfriend if you'd like!" He smiled. 



"No it's okay. Having a girlfriend means I wouldn't be able to do my job well. Dahil ma hahati ang attention ko between her and you! And YOU are my priority. Kasi without you wala akong trabaho at wala akong maipapakain sa mga kapatid at magulang ko." walang katapusang  sagot nito sa akin. 



" Aba! Daig mo pa si Andreas ah!! Sana ikaw nalang ang pinakasalan ko Bryce! hahahaha" nag tawanan kami. I did notice he is getting more over protective towards me lately. When he didn't take the promotion I gave him I even told him I will fire him but sabi niya he will never leave my side. Such a loyal person. 



"Just doing my job, Ma'am" Sagot nito as if body guard ko siya. 



"Hoy Bryce, wag mo akong inispoiled nang ganyan. Baka pag nawala ka hindi ko kayanin maging CEO!" Biro  ko ulit sa kanya. He giggled which is funny kasi he never do that. 



"Like I said, I will never leave your side no matter what!" Mag kapatid na rin ang turingan namin. He is almost like my kuya.  Nag ring ang phone ko at I excused myself from Bryce at bumalik na ito sa office niya. 



"Hello, MA?!" sagot ko sa phone .



"Hija, come to the hospital NOW! Andreas has finally opened his eyes. Bilisan mo Anak!" Excited na sabi ni Mama Ann-Mrie. 



"Ha? sige Ho Ma. I'm on my way.!" Tinawag ko si Bryce and told him the news. He called my driver at bumalik na ako sa hospital. 



"Hija, Huwag ka sanang magagalit.. kasi.. ahhh.. ehhh-" kinakabahan ako sa mga pinag sasabi ni Mama Ann-Marie. 



"What's wrong Ma? is he alright???" I opened his bedroom door and I saw Rose right beside him. Both of them acting as if they're couple. 



"What are you doing here Rose?" Tanong ko sa kanya. 



"WHAT THE HELL! WHO ARE YOU?? AND WHY ARE YOU HERE?" galit na tanong ni Andreas sa akin. 



"WHAT??!" Now I'm confused. 



"Hija, Kasi pag gising niya si Rose ang hinahanap niya. Tapos when I explained to him what had happened hindi niya maalala at.. at.. pati ikaw hindi niya maalala!" Explain ni mama sa akin. 



"What do you mean Ma? Where's his doctor???" Mama Ann-Marie called for  Andreas doctor. 



"Don't play games with me Andreas. Hindi ka nakakatuwa!!!" singhaw ko sa kanya. 



"What the hell Bitch! Don't talk to me like you now me!!" sagot nito. 



"Excuse me??? Did you just seriously call me a bitch??? Are you fucking out of your mind??? What do you have some sickening Amnesia where you only decide  to remember everything except ME?!" Inis kong sagot. When I was about to open my mouth pumasok ang doctor ni Andreas. 



"Mrs. Torres, due to a bad head trauma nag ka amnesia ang asawa mo. May mga cases talaga na ganyan it's very rare pero it happens. Prior to the accident it is possible that all he was thinking  was you and it triggered some abnormal activities on his brain that causes his selective amnesia. But don't worry his memory will eventually come back. Showing him old photos or reminding him of all the things you both do together  will help. Maybe show him your wedding videos or pictures. Huwag kang mag alala normal ang mga symptoms na ipinapakita nang asawa mo." The whole time nakikinig din si Andreas pero hindi parin nag bago ang mukha nito. Galit pa rin sa akin.



"Just because you lost your memory it doesn't mean you can fool around!" I stormed out his room. Napahinto ako sa may little chapel. Ang bigat bigat nang nararamdaman ko. 

"Bakit palagi mo nalang akong pinaparusahan? Ano po ba ang kasalanan ko sa inyo?? Diba naging mabuting tao naman ako? I tried to give as much as I could. I helped people who are in needs. Diba dapat good karma ang nararanasan ko ngayon? Bakit palagi nalang akong nasasaktan? Bakit ba Papa Jesus?" I look at our Savior  staring back at me. I couldn't hold my tears anymore.  "Is loving him a big mistake? I tried my best not to intertwined with our feelings pero hindi ko napigilan ang sarili ko eh. Kasalanan bang umibig? Bakit ba palagi nalang ako ang umiiyak at nag mamakaawa??? BAKIT???!"  Tears falls rapidly down my cheek.
