"He seems nice." I said as Antonio left the room. Daniel scoffed and sat down, running a hand through his hair.

"He's only saying that to get in your pants." He deadpanned as his attention returned to the stack of papers in front of his. I was tired of this, he just sat there writing all day. All work and no play was a stupid way to spend the day. My eyes scanned the room in search of something to do when I saw a empty sheet of paper on the ground by the chair. Humming i picked it up, ideas brewing in my head. I tore off a piece and balled it between my fingertips. Aiming it for Daniel's forehead, I flicked it off and it landed perfectly. I was in a fit of giggles and snorts as Daniel fanned the area around his head as if shooing away a fly. The way his nose scrunched up in frustration lead me to doing it again again. I balled up my last piece and looked up at him to aim it but was surprised to see a small paper ball balancing between is pointer finger and thumb. He was staring intently on it as the ball rolled between the tips of his fingers.

"Looks like I found the fly." He said passively as he turned to look at me. Crap crap!!! My mind screamed. Run!

"Shit." I cursed and I was out my seat and to the door with a dash. I threw the door open and ran outside, almost hitting a few people. Behind me I could hear the heavy footsteps as Daniel chased after me.

"I'm going to kill you." He snarled as he nearly tripped on a passing girl. I whipped my head back to the front only to catch myself from hitting into one of the waitresses. She glared at me and I returned it with a chuckle. This was the most fun I had in a long time. Although Daniel was most likely going to kill me I was having fun and that was all that mattered right now. Daniel hissed from behind me in pain and I looked back to see him grabbing his foot in pain than recovering. Laughing out loud I opened one of the doors in a hallway and ran inside. The room turned out to be the pool room so it had a large pool table. Daniel soon followed inside and I realized that I was trapped. He'd caught me. The thought itself send shivers of exit lent down my spine.

"Got you." He said, breathless. I panicked for a little before I smirked an idea coming to mind. I grabbed one of the pool sticks and held it up in defense.

"That's what you think." I said. Daniel quickly caught on and grabbed a pool stick of his own. I jabbed it at him but Daniel blocked it with his own.

"Ha!" He said as he jabbed his at me but I moved to the side, avoiding the stick. I pit out my leg to trip him and waited for his next attempt. He came at me again and successfuly avoided my leg, hitting in my shoulder. Seeing his smirk, I huffed in frustration and put my all into the next jab. It hit Daniel in his bicept unexpectedly.

"Crap." He said. I grinned evilly and tried another attempt. This time however, I ended up tripping over one of the pool table legs and fall onto Daniel, taking him down with me. I slept on my back staring at the celling above me. To my right was Daniel, who was slightly panting from your little adventure, doing well the same thing.

"Got you." He puffed looking over at me before looking back up at the celling.

"That was the most fun I'd had since I've got here." I said smiling and inspecting the celling.

"And I'm guessing it will be enough for today?"he asks.

"What do you mean?" I say slightly confused.

"I'm sending you home, I think that's enough fun for one day. Go home take a shower and write a bit I'll be home later." He replied as he got up and offered me a hand. I took it and stood up nodding in understanding. This place was boring if I had to stay here any longer and watch Daniel go through papers I'd pull out my hair. Daniel whipped out his phone and called someone. I blocked out most of the conversation and plopped myself on the couch in the room.

"I have my two best men taking you home." He said. "They should be enough protection, please don't anger them."

"Fine." I puffed and followed Daniel out of the room. In the hallway we were greeted by two big men. One of them had tattoo sleeves that were packing out from under his shirt and some tattoos on his neck. The blonde locks of his hair pushed up and the sides trimmed off. He smirled as he saw me eyeing him, but it was short lived as my lip curled in disgust. This guy looked like he could be a work famous body builder. The other also blonde haired man laughed and crossed his arms. Both the men looked identical which led me to think they were twins.

"Alright boys, take her home and come back in got some things for you to do." They nodded and gestured for me to come with them. God I can't wait to go back and sleep.

I watched as the men led Aphrodite out of the building. I shook my head at the chase I had just done. That girl was going to drive me crazy. I had bought her a laptop and gave her her own key to the basement gym out of pure gilt. I hadn't ment to hurt her last week it just came out. I wasn't going to let Dean get her, even if I didn't know why I cared. Gunshots and screaming brought me out of my thoughts.

"Cazzo." I cursed and pulled out my gun and phone resting my back against the wall, waiting for the intruding gun man to come. I unlocked my phone and scanned though my contacts for Liam's number. He answered on the second ring.

"Vatalli, what on earth is going on."

"Dean's men, they shot their way in. Michael and Tim are dead." He replied. In the back round I heard the sound of gunshots echo off the walls of the room.

"Where are they right now, besides the main room?"

"West wing and their making their way to the front of the building and the garage." He said and at those words Aphrodite came to mind. I was supposed to be protecting her. She was my sole responsibility and the gun men where after her. It hit me like a buldozer, they were here for her and I'd left her with little protection.

"Shit, Aphrodite was on her way out to the garage." I cursed into the phone. "Meet me in the garage." And with that I ended the call as the gunmen rounded the corner. The leading man inspected room after room and I creeped up behind the group. They entered one of the lounges and I went in after them. I shoot the men in the back of their heads and took cover behind a table as they rest of the men relised who I was.

"Merda." One of them cursed and shot as me but missed. I shot two more and they dropped dead. The screams coming from the halls pushed me to get these guys off my hands to get to Aphrodite. The last man tried to shot at me but missed as I moved to the side and the bullet skimmed the side of my arm. I hissed as I shot the man in the leg. As he fell he shot once more and it hit my shoulder, penetrating it. I shouted in agony as my hand cupped the wounded shoulder. Blood stained my hand and shirt but I ignored it and made my way to the last man lying on the floor. I grabbed him by his neck with my unharmed arm and pulled him up, suffocating him.

"Where are the rest of your men?!" I spat as he clawed at my hand. I loosened my grip to hear his answer.

"Car garage! You won't reach her in time, she's ours now." He spat and I threw him down to the ground and shot him twice in the chest. I watched as the remaining light in his eyes disipitated and his eyes glazed over, signaling his death. I glared at his body before I stomped out the lounge and towards the garage. I was going to get her even if it was the last thing I do.
