Barry squeezed your hand tightly, a grip that you returned as you watched the man who was once convicted of his own wives murder, was finally being set free. This man was Barry's father, and this would be the first time you two met. You felt almost as nervous as Barry did. Once you feel his hand begin to vibrate you bring it up and kiss the back of his hand softly.
He grins at you nervously as his father walks up and they pull each other into one of the tightest hugs you've ever seen. After they pull away from each other Barry returns his hand to yours and introduces you as his girlfriend. His father looks at you and you're worried for a moment that he won't approve. But a smile spreads across his face once more.
"She a pretty one, Barry. Just like your mother." He nodded at you quickly. "It's nice to meet you."
