People And What They Can Do To Others

A worthless bitch,

An imperfect daughter.

Such hurtful words,

They slaughter.

Trying your best every day again,

Feeling less than a zero.

Watching out the window,

Impatiently waiting for a hero.

The family is never happy with what you do,

Changing yourself is an effort in vain.

The constant judging and prejudices,

Eyes and words can cause so much pain.

But, baby, you are better than them,

Because you can feel it's wrong to judge.

You are nothing of the things they call you,

But you believe it and carry their grudge.

I wish I could show you what you're worth,

But you have to believe in yourself to believe me.

I can only show you the way but you have to walk,

I can be by your side if you want me to be.

You are never alone even when you think so,

And if you look around you will see us.

We can be small and hidden but we exist,

And there is not one subject we can't discuss.

In this world there is always someone better,

Someone who is smarter, prettier and cooler.

And they can be everything you are not,

But do you think that makes them a world ruler?

You can force yourself until complete exhaustion,

Study, put on make up and act like the rest.

But that won't make you happy at all,

Despite what you are told, you are the best.

Who cares about grades when you want to die,

Who cares about family when they're killing you?

Who cares about anything if it breaks you down,

Do they care about what they are putting you through?

You should live for yourself and only yourself,

Because they can't tell you who you are.

Who says you have to be what they make you to be,

When you could just become a rock star?

And, yes, you too have the talent for anything,

When you believe in it, nobody can stop you.

The hateful words they shove your way,

Are said without thinking and they aren't true.

99 people can say you are beautiful,

But if 1 says you're not, you will believe that one.

It's human nature to believe the negative,

Because it's easier to give up and say they won.

But when you stand up and fight back,

You throw their own insecurities right in their face.

The only ones who are the real bad people,

Are the ones who call you a disgrace.

I hope I can make you believe me,

If only a little bit at a time.

I hope this can give you a little bit of hope,

But the only thing I can do is rhyme.

Standing up and fighting back,

Those things are lying in your own hands.

But you are never alone, never,

There are people who understand.

I have been there too and I almost died,

But people opened my blinded eyes.

They showed me how much they loved me,

And made me see all the terrible lies.

Baby, you are never alone in this world,

I am here for you whenever you need me.

And I will say all the words your broken heart needs,

I can show you how it feels to finally break free.

You can depend on me.
