Kellin's POV,--,

Even in my drunken state I knew this was not smart to call her.

But I've been so lonely.

And when was the last time I recived a kiss?

Evil thoughts like this found there way creeping into my head.

Soon there were too many thoughts telling me do it then not.

Resulting in me hitting call.

As the phone started to ring I started to fear rejection.

I'll have to butter her up, like sweet talk her.

Maybe say-

"Hello?" She picked up, interrupting my thoughts.

"Kate!" I smiled though phone faking a great joy in hope she hears it.

"Oh Kellin. What do you need?" She seemed shocked and spiteful.

Okay here goes nothing.

I sucked in a breath and started the long list of lies.

"Kate, babe, I miss you. So much you couldn't even fathom. I screwed up being with that- that hoe." It burned my heart saying that.

As I continued talking I tried to hide my slurred words.

"all I'm asking is, let's just get together again. Maybe give it one more go?" I asked feeling off asking this.

"Kellin hun. I knew you'd come back. It was a matter of time. And why don't you come over?" She had a sweet tone washing her voice.

and SCORE! got a place to stay!

"Sure, thank you babe. I'll be there soon." I hung up.

Of course I feel bad for everything I have just done and what will happen. But it needs to happen.

Iris is probably dead. So I should save myself the heart break right?

I hope so....

I soon hauled a cab and drove over to Kate's beautiful southern San Diego home.

I tipped the driver and exited the car while grabbing my bag.

The yellow car sped away leaving me a nervous reck in the drive way.

I was starting to doubt myself.

But my drunk, stupid self said do it.

My feet scattered to the front door and across the driveway.

Soon my hand found its way to the doorbell and I was to wait then on the shimmery patio under the sparkling radiant lights.

Eventually the door cracked open revealing a beautiful woman with big brown eyes and long brown hair.

"Kate!" I smiled. She smiled back nodding her head.

"Kellin, come in."

I did as followed, as I walked my legs wobbled and wiggled making show some of my drunk state.

"Kellin are you okay?" She sounded concerned as she took my hands leading me to the couch.

"Oh fine! Thanks." I lied.

Tonight was just going to filled with lies, wasn't it.

We both sat next to each other on the big black couch .

"So.... You were saying earlier?" She smiled this almost devilish smile.

Wonder what that was about...
