Chapter 39 – Epilogue

I stepped out of Brandon’s newly brought truck, since locus crashed his old one, I almost laughed at Locus’s eyes when Brandon told him he had to pay for a new one yesterday. Just as my feet touched the damp concrete which covered the floor of the car park, Mar, Mike and Gabe’s cars appeared and my pack, which is now called ‘The Midnight Pack’, and ‘The Half Moon London Pack’ started spilling out of the three cars. Last to arrive was Sam on her motorbike, helmet hanging off one side of her handle bar.

I could see Jackson getting annoyed that Sam doesn’t take her own safety seriously, I looked away from a very determined Jackson who was starting to make his way towards our Alpha and his mate. When I looked away I saw Gabe, Grace, Emma and Matt heading towards the school door, with Sarah I guessed she was taking them to the main office, even though I didn’t know where it was either I didn’t go and catch up with the other members of my pack, I stood were I was, pulling out my ipod, putting on shuffle waiting for a song to decide to play, I leant against Brandon’s truck which I was still stood next to, un moved. Finally a song started, it was Eyes Wide Shut by JLS.

Do you ever find that when you are listening to music whilst people watching they all seem to start moving in time with the beat in the music? No, well I had that. I looked back to Sam and Jackson, Sam was on her tippy toes speaking in to Jackson’s ear, he was facing away from so I couldn’t see his reaction to whatever Sam must have said, but a few seconds later you could tell what she said because Jackson grabbed her hand, pulling her towards the school’s front doors, with a massive grin on his face. And every step he took matched the beat of the song perfectly, Sam must have seen me looking because she winked at me then smirked, I smiled at my best friend shaking my head at her ways of distracting Jackson, I wonder if I could use my body to distract Erik, it would certainly have stopped a few of the battles my pack went through, NO Alex Stop Not thoughts of that JackAss!

My eyes once again wondered around the filling car park, to see Mary and Mike, his arm was around her waist, he was also gazing into her pretty face with a blinding smile present on his lips. She was laughing at something he must have just said. The right in time with the song which was still blaring out of my headphones, Mike twirled Mary around then linked their hands which were holding each other’s and he lead her towards the doors.

I looked around to find that most of the other people in the car park, werewolves and human’s alike were starting to also walk towards the door, meaning it had been the bell which made Mike and Mary make their way to the school.

I walked up to the door and then through into a corridor, I looked down the nearest hall to the right, looking for sign which said ‘Main Office’, there was none. My eyes fell on something which did make me smile two things actually, firstly Cooper was leaning on a locker talking to Sophie who was stood in front of I guess her open locker, his hand was resting on her waist and they were obviously flirting with one another.

On the other side of the hall, Ed was taking books out of his locker Locus was right behind him, so that Ed’s back was directly against his chest. Ed brought a book out of his locker and was about to put it in his other hand so he could shut his locker and then carry the book to class, when Locus took the book off him, kissing the corner of his mate’s lips, he then took Ed’s hand linking his fingers with his own, then closed Ed’s locker with the hand which still held the book.

“You want me to show you to the office” I turned to find Nathan stood behind me, I nodded sheepishly because I had forgotten I had been trying to find the office because I had been too caught up in watching the cute, romantic couples, which I wish Erik and I could be like. No Stop It Alex You Want Nothing to Do With Him Remember, NOTHING!  

As we walked down the third corridor I realised how distant Nathan was he hadn’t spoken a word and had a faraway look in his eyes, to try and start a convocation I asked the question which had been bugging me since we started walking, “Nathan”, he nodded to signify he was listening “where is Ash?” he did a small smile when I said her name but didn’t speak to answer the question instead he just pointed down a corridor to our left.

I turned and looked to see Ash stood with Sam, Jake and Jack to see a girl with three guys wasn’t that unusual, but what was unusual was that Sam was leant up against a locker in front of her showing his defined muscles through his shirt, making them even more heighted because his arms were crossed over his chest making his upper arm muscles pop.

But that wasn’t the worst of it because you see Jake had his arm round her waist and Jacks hand entwined her hand with his, and her head was resting on his shoulder. I looked back at Nathan, who was wearing a carm face but you could see the hurt and jealousy swirling in his eyes, mixing together to make one raw emotion, Anger.“Let’s go” he voice wasn’t as weak as I accepted it to be it almost sound normally, but I decided not to speak about it and followed behind him to the office.

I walked into my second lesson late again I had been late to both lesson’s so far because I had yet to make any friends in my classes, I had friends from the packs, such as Mich who was in my tutor but the problem is he is only in my tutor. So I have to find my own way to my lessons “Sorry, I am late sir”

I said good bye to the girl I had been talking to all lesson I think we could become good friends but I can’t remember her name she told me so fast that I missed it, THREE times, I would have to ask someone what it is, as I stepped out in to the corridor just as the break bell rang I found myself walking behind to sluts, I had only taken one glance at them but it was easy to tall, I eavesdropped on their convocation, like I had anything better to do, “So what do you think of the new seniors?” I almost laughed these two thought that they were going to get with either of Matt or Gabe” The blonde haired slut, flicked her hair and said “I think they are both to die for but they both have girl friends, you know them two girls which came with them, not the short one but the other two” The red head rolled her eyes in a bored fashion “Yeah but did you see them, they are nothing compared to us” again I had to hold in a laugh because I am sure if you asked wither Gabe or Matt, to compare both of these bitches to their mate, it would be hilarious, “Yeah but there is that other guy” said the blond this made me frown who was the other new guy god they are not talking about me that would be embarrassing and funny.

“He is tall, black hair, tanned skin, strong well built, bad boy, screams power” said red head checking off things on her list, she went on to say more but my mind had started spinning two hundred miles a hour, because this new guy was starting to sound like a very annoying Alpha I know, I jumped back to listening to convocation to hear the blond say “What’s his name?” they had stopped now next to a door with the sign courtyard, next to it, I walked past slowly so I could hear the red head say “Erik Bowmen” No way it can’t be, could it?

Then as to seal my fait I heard the sexy voice which sends pleasurable shivers all over my body “Hey Kid” I turned to see none other than Erik, leaning against a post, hands in his jean pockets with a sexy grin on his face.

As you can probable tell form the end of this YES there will be squeal lots of people said they would read it so Idecided to do one, I will post the squeal info later, but today
