"Alam mo maganda ka." Monique said habang hinihila niya yung jacket ko. I glared at her and fix my glasses.

I don't know what's up with her. Maybe she's not intimidated by my presence.

"You know? You're irritating." I hissed at tinapik yung kamay niya sa jacket ko.

"Etoh naman! Bago ako dito I need friends! And I have given you the privilege to be one!" She winked at muling hinila ang damit ko.

She's wearing a sleeveles blouse and skater skirt. Nakapumps din siya. Habang ako nakajacket, pantalon at rubber shoes.

I'm not a fan of converse, keds nor vans. I'm more of Nike, Puma and Adidas. Wala kang makikitang ibang brand ng sapatos sa koleksyon ko puro yun lang.

And still, I am towering her. I am proud 5'8 teenager. And I guess she's just 5'2, mataas nga ang takong niya mas maliit pa rin siya sakin.

"Sige na Maxene! Dun tayo sa cafeteria!" Yumakap siya sa braso ko and pulled me. "Yung nga bwisit na yun, I transferred here for them pero dalawang buwan na pala silang hindi pumapasok!" She snorted.

I have patiently ignoring her tantrums cause she generously bought food for the both of us even if I didn't ask for it.

"You eat. Actually, nanggaling pa kong Madrid, nagtransfer ako dito agad-agad to look for my boyfriend! Nakakaasar! I thought I could see him today!"

Again I ignored her and I don't why she's bringing these out to a total stranger. She seems comfortable of me.

"I swear gigilitan ko ng leeg si Raven for this! They're are hiding Christian from me!" Nanggigigil na saad nito at tinusok-tusok ng tinidor yung salad niya.

Literal na natigilan siya ng mapansin niyang tahimik lang akong kumakain.

"Wala ka man lang bang reaksyon sa mga pinagdadaanan ko?!"

I looked at her and shrugged. Ngumuso siya sakin and drank her pineapple juice.

"But that's okay. Atleast back up kita. You heard my side kaya dapat sakin ka kampi." She breathed.

"We're not friends--"

"I have already given you the privilege to be my friend. Just be thankful and you can't even say no." Irap niya sakin and now yung carrots naman ang pinanggigigilan niya.

"We have a class at 1:30." I said. Sa kakadaldal niya hindi pa siya nakakalahati sa order niya and it's already 1pm .

"What the ef?! Magcutting na lang tayo. I need to look for them."

"Mag-isa ka." I said coldly and grab my bag. Hindi na ko nagthankyou sa panlilibre niya. Just like what I've said, nagkusa siya.

"Maxene naman! Maawa ka naman sakin!" I heard her said. Lumingon ako sa kanya and coldly stared.

"The first step for that is stop being desperate."

Her jaw dropped. Well I love telling truths especially when it hurts. Ang sarap lang makitang natatameme sila sa katotohanan lalo na kapag sinampal mo yun sa mga pagmumukha nila.

"You have attitude problem." She blurted.

Napangisi na lang ako and left her alone eating her food. Sa pagdaan ko sa hallway, natatahimik ang bawat maiingay na grupo.
