"I'm not talking to you." i told my dad getting irritated again. "Then your going to listen." he told me
sternly. i drug my feet against the ground. "Fallon what has be going on? you never act like that and
you have never talked to me that way before either?" he asked me. i didnt say anything. "Fallon talk to
me." he said. i looked up at him. he studied my face. i sighed and looked away. "Dad I want to sing. i
know you dont want me too but i really do. i love singing more than anything. i have a whole book full
of lyrics and chords to go along with it." i told him. he looked at me for a second before saying
anything. "I guess you can start to sing." he told me. i looked up at him shocked. "However, i do have
some rules. one, deals of any kind will be brought to me to look at. two, no songs about anything that
you wouldnt talk to me or mom about." he told me. "Ok." i told him hugging him in the process. "So
still mad at me?" he asked me. i looked at him and tilted my head to the side. he looked at me with a
shocked expression on his face. "Your thinking about it!" he accused me. i smiled slightly. he stood up
and started tickling me. i laughed uncontrolably. "Stop, dad stop." i told him. he ignored me and
continued to tickle me. "Ok i'm not mad at you anymore!" i yelled. he laughed slightly. "I love you
daddy." i told him. he smiled. "I love you too." he told me. we sat there and talked for a while before it
started to get to hot outside. i looked at the time on my dads watch. it said it was 3:00pm. "Can we go
home? it's really hot outside." i asked/complained to him. he laughed. "Sure, come on." he told me.
When we got back home dad went upstairs. i went to the fridge and pulled out a root beer. i slipped it
into my bag as my dad came back downstairs. "Fallon your uncle is coming to pick you up to take you
to the mall to hang out with your friends." he told me. "Which one?" i asked him. "Joe." was all he said
as he went to the basement to pack for the up and coming tour. i was happy Uncle Joe was the one
coming to get me because i could never get away with the root beer with Uncle Nick. he is way uptight
about the whole sugar thing. i sent into the livingroom and grabbed my sunglasses off of the rack.
when my uncle got here i quickly ran out to the car. "Whoa, why are you in such a hurry?" Uncle Joe
asked me. "Nothing just go." i told him. he looked at me skeptically. i waited till we pulled out of the
driveway before pulling the root beer bottle out of my bag. my uncle looked sideways at me before
turning back to the road. i opened it and took a quickl drink before relaxing against the seat. "Are you
sure your going to be ok while drinking that?" he asked me. i nodded before taking another drink. my
uncle was clearly worried. i shrugged it off as we arrived at the mall. i kissed him quickly before
rushing over to my friends who were outside waiting for me.
(Two hours Later)
my friends had all left besides me and my cousin. we were looking around Hot Topic when a couple
of guys walked in and spotted us.
