8.| For The Bestfriend

I am here at the Mall of Asia Arena watching the greatest rivalry in the UAAP, Ateneo vs La Salle. They are fighting for the last spot in the Finals. Whoever wins this game will face FEU who defeated UST in the semi-finals round in today's 12nn game.

As usual, the Arena is jam-packed. Sea of Green and Blue filled the whole venue. How i wish we're both fighting for the championship already. But then again, UST & FEU are one hell of a team too.

Last 2 minutes of the 2nd Quarter and Ateneo is up by 8. La Salle called for a full time-out.

During time-out the people in the Arena roared esp. from the green side. I don't know what it is so i looked at the big screen above the court. And there i saw Mika being featured. Walking towards her seat, i think. She's holding a tea drink from Starbucks. She's wearing a green fit and flare dress and a Nike cap.

The girl behind her, which i think is her friend, tapped her shoulder and pointed the big screen. Mika looked at the screen and when she saw herself, she's as if looking for the cameraman & when she found it, she smiled sweetly and made a salute sign which left the Arena roaring more loudly.

The buzzer ticked signaling that the time-out is over and the play will resume.

I saw Mika sat 3 rows behind the Green Archers bench. She's with her "crew" (just like how Kiefer calls them).

Speaking of Kiefer, i looked at him who is just seated beside me here in the Arena's VIP Patron. He's blank staring at the basketball ring. Then i saw Dani poke him.

"Huy Manong, okay ka lang?" I heard Dani.

That's when Kiefer was awaken from his pool of unspoken thoughts. "Yes, I'm okay, Dan. Why?"

"Kasi nakatitig ka lang sa ring. Pwede ka naman tumingin sa kanya ng deretcho or sa screen man lang para di masyadong halata." Dani teased which left us laughing.

"Alam mo ikaw! Sige, hindi kita bibilhan ng bagong shoes para sa opening nyo!" Kiefer threatened his sister.

"Grabe si Manong oh! Joke lang kasi yon diba? Wag masyadong serious." Dani said.

Kiefer tried mimicking Dani. "Grabe si Manong oh. Nye nye nye. Ewan ko sayo. Oh, eto pera bili mo muna ako frappe. Dali bago mag half time para di madaming tao." Kiefer ordered.

"Ay wow. Porket PBA na siya, okay lang umalis habang may game. Samantalang dati ayaw kami lumabas habang naglalaro sya. Baka pwedeng mamaya na Manong? Nood muna ako ng game ni Kuya Thirds?" Dani asked sarcastically.

Kiefer threw a dagger look at Dani, "Ano ba yan! 'Eto na nga oh! Bibili na. Pag ako nagka pera ng marami, who you ka sakin!" Dani hissed

"Ano yon, Daniella?" Kiefer asked

Dani didn't bother to answer her brother.

"Labs! Alam mo ikaw, wag kang masyadong buratski." I lectured him. He looked at me asking what i'm talking about.

"I mean, wag OA. Wag masyadong iwasan yung pang-iinis at pagtatanong lalo na pag si Mika yung topic" i explained.

"Hindi ako OA. Hindi rin ako burat." He defended himself.

"Oh e ano ka pala? Sa ginagawa mo for the past days na alam mong nakabalik na siya, ano pala? Yung pagka bipolar mo? You're not in the mood one sec then you are as if in heaven the next?" I quirked.

"Labs. Tantanan na natin to. Wag dito. Gulong gulo na din ako sa sarili ko." He said, palm on his face, uncertainty with a hint of irritation in his voice.
