The Dead Hearts (A Keadlyn Fanfiction)

Chapter 12.

You play with my emotions.
But blame me for liking it too much.

Chapter twelvee.

"Thirteen girls left." Amanda informs.

"I'm very curious who will be the queen." I say as eat my beef.

"And eleven of the girls hate you for yesterday."

"I told you they will hate me." I sigh.

"Whatever. Hating are lame. I never really hate someone. I just dislike most people.".

"That's pretty much the same."

"Something is weird on your face. I can't tell."

We are sitting at the very back of the table to avoid the gossips. It means that I have to sit away from Peter but it's just breakfast it's fine. Amanda keep telling me that I should not care about the gossips but how could I not?
"Miss Hailey is looking at you for the fourty freaking five times, Katelyn. I've count it." Amanda rolls her eyes. "Why are those girls are so annoying?"

"You like most of them." I slurp my orange juice.

"Yeah I used to. Not now anymore. Can't they just accept it that Peter loves you?"

"Love?" I laugh. "I don't think love is the word for him now. Besides, you could say that because you're in love with someone else that is not Peter. That's why you're not jealous. How if all of them fall for Peter like I do?"

"Except Hailey," Amanda corrects, "and even if they do, they should want Peter to be happy if they fall for him. That is what love means."

"Each of us want to fight for his mysterious heart." I smile.

"I'm on your side and you're on their side?" Amanda chuckles. I blow her a kiss.

"Peter is standing up," Amanda elbows me, "and he is walking slowly to Hailey's place."

"Yeah I knew it." I snap.

"He'll be just taking her around the palace, don't be so jealous."

"You don't know what he has in mind."

"He has kissed you." Amanda remembers me.

"And he has kissed some others too."

"Well, he has taken you to the royals secret place?"

"It's not even secret."

"Ugh." Amanda groans.

Peter is still there talking with the girls around but focusing to Hailey. There is just something about him and Hailey or him and Karen that makes me so jealous and envy. Hailey is clearly flirting out of him. I can't really see Peter's face but from the corner of his face, I can see him smiling.

"Come on let's go." Amanda stands up. "Don't stare at them like an angry lion. He's not even yours."

"Yeah you're right. Let's just go. He probably wants to make me hate him again. Besides all the royals except Reevan has gone." I stand up too. We walk to the door when a voice calls.

"Katelyn, wait!"

Reevan.

"Hey." I turn to greet him. Amanda is lauging for no reason.

"Uh, hi." He finally stops running.

"Uh, what's up?" I giggle. Reevan is so funny.

"Well we both knew that we just ate, so nothing really." His breath is still a little heavy. "Oh, hey Amanda!"
