"Ruby, I'm not going."

Ruby is trying to get me to go to this party that some guy at school is hosting. I would go but I would much rather stay in bed and watch Netflix all night. Don't get me wrong, parties can be fun but at this party there are going to be a ton of drunk guys and loud music. It's not the kind of party that I'm a fan of.

"Come on, please! Emma, it's our senior year. You need to live a little."

"You know what, fine. I'll go." I know Ruby is just going to continue to annoy me so I decided that I'll just go.

Sadly, Killian will be at this party. He goes to all parties that have alcohol at them. In fact, most of the guys go to all the parties with alcohol.

Killian has been flirting with me since the day he was waiting for me by my locker.

"Yay yay yay!" Ruby started jumping up and down in excitement. "Ok, we have to go get you a dress, do your makeup, and then do your hair. We only have 3 hours until we have to leave for the party."

And the torture begins.

•••••••

Ruby took me to the mall so we could go dress shopping for me. We've been in this store for like 20 minutes and we really need to hurry up if we are going to get to the party on time.

"Emma, you need to at least try here. You are making me do all of the work. You say you don't like any of the dresses I pick out for you."

Ok, yes. It is kind of my fault that it's taking us forever. But all the dress are too revealing.

I looked over in Ruby's direction and she was looking at a very pretty red dress.

"Here, take this and go try it on," Ruby said while handing the dress to me. "Come out and show me when you're done putting it on."

I took the dress and walked over to one of the dressing rooms. I put the dress on and turned around to look at myself in the mirror that was in here. I have to admit, I really actually liked it. It wasn't too revealing but it was tight in the little curves that I had.

I walked out of the dressing room and saw Ruby leaning against a wall outside of the dressing room.

She turned around and immediately her mouth dropped open and her eyes widened.

"Take it off and let's go check out!"

I did what she said and we checked out. We walked out of the store that we were in and when we walked out, I saw Killian with some of his friends.

I grabbed Ruby's arm and ran. Once we were outside of be mall and stopped running and let go of Ruby.

"What was that for?!" She yelled at me while breathing heavily.

"I saw Killian."

"oh come on, he's not that bad."

"I'm tired of him flirting with me! He won't leave me alone."

"Awe, he has a crush on you! So cute!"

"Shut up." I said and rolled my eyes at her. Killian is really getting on my nerves. He's just going to move onto some other girl next week and try to get up her pants.
