They finally detach and he drives off "ok spill" I demand

"Spill what?" She says smiling

"What kind of crazy supernatural thing are you?!" I ask in a rush, the couriousily is killing me

"Well what flys on a broom, has worts, wears a pointy hat and has magic powers?" She begins to walk away and I'm frozen in place, man the things I thought I knew

When I get out of shock I chase after her "you're a witch?!" I say loudly and she shh's me "oh stop theres no one around" I swat her hand

She chuckles "yes I'm a witch" she nods

"No way" I ask astonished

"Yup"

"Oh my god" I say, I never thought my best friend was a witch! "For how long?!"

She laughs loudly "Rose I'm not a vampire we don't get changed into witches, we are born like that" she explains throwing her thick raven black hair in a loose pony tail

"Wow...what can you do" I know I should be a little angry that she didn't tell me after all this time of being my best friend but I can understand I guess, I didn't tell her my dad beat me until years of knowing her and I didn't even really tell her she just kind of knew, but no shock there.

"Well how are your wounds" she asks looking me over even though she can only see my cheek, my other injuries are out if her sight

"Wait did you do some like vodo and make me heal super fast?" I ask

"I wouldn't call it vodo but sure, it was a healing spell. I hope it worked, it was my first time trying it. I'm not powerful enough yet to have healed you completely and I'm sorry. I hope I took a little of the pain away" she says, her eyes filled with disappointment and anger at herself

"You did an amazing job! Everything was almost healed by the next day" I hug her tightly

"Ok good, but do me a favor?" She asked and I nodded "don't go getting yourself hurt, at least another time this month the spell took a lot out of me and it will probably take a month before I can preform another powerful spell like that" she says

I laughed a little "well I don't plan on getting hurt so"

She laughed "ok good"

"So why are you so powerful?" I ask as we come closer into the school, people and students becoming more sparse as the time ticks by

She smiled "you see most witches don't get soul mates but I'm lucky, I found Caden. And also since I'm a witch, you know how vampires abilities advance when they find there mate? well since I met Caden and we are mated I'm even more powerful, almost as powerful as my grandmother" she explains with a proud smile

"Wow Jade I...I don't know what to say"

"Yeah it's pretty amazing" she smiles with white teeth behind her red lips

"But I do have to call you a bitch for the fact that you didn't tell me sooner" I cross my arms and lift my eyebrows

"I'm a bitchy witch" she says and we both laugh, she wipes a fake tear from her eye "wow I'm good" she says still laughing "but in all honesty I didn't know how you would react and I didn't want to drag you into the weird and crazy world of witches, vampires, warlocks, werewolves, and other things...but now you have a vampire boyfriend/mate so looks like me holding the secret of being a witch didn't actually matter" she says laughing
