Lance and I were laying in my bed. I played with his hair while he fell asleep instantly. I lost everything that happened, I was just starting to be happy. I lost Derrick, Adam, and Derrick's sister, Natalia. Me and Natalia were never really close as much as would have liked to have been. I lost the promise ring he gave me and all the love and attention he gave me. I was falling in love with someone that never existed. I sound crazy... but I miss him. "I miss you, Derrick." I whispered out loud. "I miss you too, beautiful" the voice whispered back. I looked around to see if I could see my Derrick again but it was just a voice in my head. I want the voice out of my head before someone thinks I'm schizophrenic. All I needs right now was sleep...

"Renae, babe, what color wedding would you like?" He asked in tired voice, we had been laying in bed for 2 hours since we had woken up. I thought of Derrick... "lavender," I smiled warmly. "That's a pretty color, nice choice" he smiled up at me. I smiled back and kissed his lips softly. He blushed and didn't take his eyes off me.

I'm so glad she's awake. I had missed her so much, I stayed in the hospital with her every night. I held her hand while I slept, I never did let go. I knew she would make it. "I am so in love with you," I whispered kissing her. Kissing let to making out, making out led to clothes off, and clothes off... led to sweet love making.

1 Year Later

I stood in a room with a few of my closest friends. Two guys working on my hair, one working on my lavender tie, the last one sitting down in a chair having a drink of beer. "Guys, I don't know about this," my voice quivered slightly. "Lance, you'll be fine! You're getting married, it's normal to be nervous," my friend, Matt, reassured me. I looked over at my 1 year old son, Riley, and smiled at him in the cute outfit his mother, Renae, put on him. "Riley there looks pretty excited too," my other friend, Drake, joked about my sleeping child. I let out a laugh and looked at myself in the mirror. I'm getting married to the love of my life in just a matter of minutes. "I'm nervous," I mumbled as the palm of my hands became slightly sweaty. All the guys stood around me and patted my back. Soon I brought the baby out to my mother and made my way down the aisle and waited for my beautiful bride, Renae.

My brides maids were working so hard on me. Courtney doing my hair, Allison doing my makeup, Melody fixing my veil, and Mackenzie fixing up my dress. "You know, your little Riley looks absolutely adorable," Melody spoke up remembering what he looked like before he left with his father. "I know right," I laughed trying to ignore all the nerves. "There is nothing to be nervous about, dear," Courtney said finishing me hair. She always knew how to comfort people.

The girls finished up on my appearance and I looked in the mirror. I've never felt so beautiful before. Today I was getting married to my best friend. My friends left me to walk out with their escorts down the aisle. It's time.

The girls got down the aisle. I looked up at my dad, he smiled at me and kissed my forehead softly then he started walking me down the aisle holding me close.

He's so beautiful... I thought.

She's so beautiful... I thought. Could she be thinking the same thing I am? I hope so... She walked to the end of the aisle with her dad and was soon standing in front of me. We faced each other and held each other's hands. I stared into her eyes and repeated the words that I was given as she did the same.

I love her. We were married. We were actually married.
