The Funeral was that following Tuesday , and made the rest of Blessing day drowsy. She carried her box of tissue , as she walk down the aisle to see Jaylin's grandmother's body laying in the coffin. She looked beautiful and Blessing sniffled remembering a few nights before. When his grandmother took her last breath in front of her own two eyes. That day was something Blessing would never forget. It took about a week , for the doctor to come out with a autopsy report. The autopsy read "cardiac arrest with brain damage". Jaylin said he tried his best to get her to eat healthy , but all failed. She decided to find out the hard way , and when she did starting eating healthy. It was all to late , and even though Jaylin didn't want her to die. He felt that would be best , so she could be put at rest and wouldn't  have to worry about pain and all the sorrows life brings. Even when she begin to eat healthy , the past started to haunt her. The past creeped on her , like a ghost thru the night. She had diabetes , and lost her foot due to nerve pain. She had to be wheeled around in a wheel chair and when Jaylin wasnt with Blessing that's where he spent most of his time at. At his grandmother house trying to improve her condition. Wheeling herself around her house , she still found time to do things that she enjoyed. She sat in the garden and grown fruits and vegetables. She loved sitting on her couch  doing puzzles ,knitting , and crosswords. She knew the rain couldn't last forever and that thru all the thick clouds , it was beautiful sunshine. She remained to smile , even laying in her casket she smiled. Tears ran down Blessing face and she was proud that she finally made it too see heaven gates. A usher passes the obituary down the row , and Blessing looks thru it. She reads the family history and the photos. One photo was Jaylin and his grandmother. They were sitting at a table , working on a puzzle. The back page of the obtituary had a poem. The poem reads.
" Dont cry , dry your eyes. Just know it was my time  to go. As I leave this place. My feet walk on the roads that are made of gold. I fly all throughout heaven with my beautiful wings. Everything is bitter sweet. I know that you all wanted the best for me. I am finally at a peace. Let me be. Let me sleep. We will wake up one day, realizing this was all a dream. We will finally meet the king. Forgetting all the things that had so much meaning. Phone's tv's will just be a memory. Heaven will be a place where we can live happily." What a beautiful poem Blessing says. Yes it is Anita agrees. Soft music plays , and ends. The pastor gets up and preaches. One of Sarah's neices comes up to the stage and sings I cant complain by . Jaylin and some other more men in his family carry's the casket out the building. We rise and follow them out. The funeral is over and Blessing find's Jaylin's mother. She doesn't look like her self and Blessing gives her a hug. She hugged back and said that she's glad that its over. We ride to the gravesite , her final resting place and sing Amazing grace as she is being lowered to the ground. Jaylin rides with Blessing and her mother on the way back. He was quiet and Blessing didnt spark that much conversation since his grandma just passed. We arrive to his mother house were we eat , and had a good time. The food was delicious and the funeral was beautiful. The pastor made Blessing realize something , everyone has a turn. We don't know when will be the last day we are alive and should live life the fullest with the people we love the most. Life is about coming closer with family , but it's also about building relationship with various people in the world. Not everyone , who comes into your life is ment to stay. Everyone that comes into your life has a purpose , and can either teach you a lesson or give you a blessing. But along the way , some of the people you call your friends  will decieve you. Those are the type of people you have to tell apart from others. It may be hard from the beginning but once you get some practice on figuring out between who's the fakest and realest. You will start to notice that life isn't so bad after all , and that not only is life about making connections but making people smile and making memories.
