After Kabuto left Orochimaru just stared at the door. In shock. In confusion. Baffled. When did this happen? Since when did Kabuto feel like this? What did he do wrong?
He suddenly realized he had to choose.
What does he want? Kabuto or Sasuke? If he didn't decide now he could lose Kabuto forever. That would hurt right? What could he do without him? Could he live? What about Sasuke? He chased him but could he live without him? Surely he could.
Orochimaru thought about everything they had been through. What Kabuto has done for him. What he WOULD do for him. Anything. Would Sasuke? Certainly not. But... What had Orochimaru done for Kabuto to deserve this love... This faithful, unstoppable, persistent,protective, unshakable love.
Nothing.
He had done nothing. He finally realized it. He needs Kabuto. He needed to go hold him close and beg... Beg for forgiveness. Pray that he'll take him back.
