Chapter 39: Unexpected Guest

Joey: Eugh! Evil Shane!

*10 mins later*

Shane: You're actually ready on time!

Joey: Are we a little too early to head to Luke's now?

Shane: If we go early we could beat the traffic...

Joey: We should go now then haha.

Shane drove us to Luke's since he wouldn't be drinking at the party. It took us quite a while to get to Luke's but we got there a few minutes later than he asked us to be there for.

*Knocks on front door*

Luke opened the door to me and Shane and greeted us in.

Luke: Joey! Shane! Hi!

He pulled us both in for a mini group hug.

Luke: How are you guys?!

Shane: Good....

Joey: Okay- are you a little drunk Luke?

Luke: Noo! Pfft *Falls over on to his side leaning against Alex.

Alex: Yup he is.

Luke: Go get a drink! In the kitchen they are.

Shane and I walked into the kitchen which was filled with about a dozen people. I didn't recognise anybody in the kitchen so I quickly got a drink then went back out to the living area.

Shane: I'm gunna go talk to...uhhh....oh there's Meghan! I'll go talk to her!

Joey: Okay...I'll be with Luke and the rest of the guys if you need me.

[Shane's POV]

I approached Meghan and she saw me come towards her, she ran at me then pulled me into a huge hug.

Meghan: How are you Shane!?

Shane: I'm good, how's you?

Meghan: Great!

I noticed Jimmy standing next to her, he put his hand around her and started talking to me.

Jimmy: Hi Shane!

Shane: Hey Jimmy! You guys enjoying the party so far?

Meghan and Jimmy: Yup!

I talked with Meghan and Jimmy for a little while...not mentioning me or Joey since Jimmy didn't know. I felt a hand place on my shoulder, I didn't know who it was until I heard their voice.

??: Shane?

Shane: Huh?

It was a woman's voice...very familiar. I turned to look and see who the mystery girl was. Man was I shocked when I turned.

Shane: LISA!

Lisa: Hi Shane...

Shane: What are you doing here?!

Lisa: We were invited.

Shane: WE?

Lisa: Me and Benny...

Shane: Ohhhh.

Lisa: So how have you been?

Shane: Great...you?

Lisa: Good myself....

Shane: How are...you and Benny going?

Lisa: He's wonderful!
