JADE'S POV
"Bestie, stop crying. I know it hurts kasi malamang after ng prom magpropose na si Althea kay Kathleen. If she asked her to the prom, it means she's interested with Althea"
"Bianca, you're not helping. Imbes na ako ang kampihan mo, parang gusto mo pang maging bridge nung dalawa"
"Bestie, hindi naman sa ganun. I told you before, make the first move. Alam mo namang malaki lamang sayo nung isa tapos ngayon iiyak iyak ka, wala ka namang ginagawa"
ALTHEA'S POV
"Tsong, I've heard you're going out with Kathleen, ano, ikakasa ko na ba ang Kathlea?"
"Baliw ka talaga Batchi"
"O bakit? Diba this is what you want?"
"Dude, favor naman pwede? Pwede bang ikaw ang sumundo kay Jade sa prom? Ayokong si David ang sumundo sa kanya"
Batchi just stared at me
"Batchi, I know masisira ko diskarte mo on that night but please, just do me a favor"
"Really tsong? You want me to do that? Para kanino? Dahil concern ka kay Jade at ayaw mong i one night stand sya ni David or for you?"
"What are you talking about?"
"Althea akala mo ba di ko pansin? You're in love with my cousin at in love ka rin kay Kathleen. Tsong dinaig mo pako e. Isa isa lang. It's either date Kathleen or be with Jade. I can drop my Batchi moves during that night. But I won't allow you nor Jade be devastated on that event. Mahal ko kayo at ayoko kayong masaktan"
JADE'S POV
Nasa garden kaming apat dito sa bahay namin. Bianca just dropped by to confirm ang gown fitting namin ni Althea. David just made his move
"Jade, I was thinking, can you be my date sa prom? "
I was speechless at naramdaman kong nagpapakiramdaman sina Batchi, Bianca at Althea sa isasagot ko. I glanced at Althea na patuloy pa rin sa pagsusulat ng notes nya.
"I mean, we'll still be going out together, all of us. Alam ko may date na si Althea, so I just wanna keep you company"
Tuloy tuloy parin si Althea sa pagsusulat. Kung pwede ko lang sya batuhin ng notebook para magkaroon ng reaksyon, ginawa ko na.
"Bestie, I think it's rude of you if you let David hanging"
I stared furiously at Bianca with that oh-well-thanks-you're-a-big-help look
"Sure David"
looking at Althea's face. She's biting her ballpen then continued writing. I looked at Batchi staring towards the apathetic Althea, shook her head and stood up.
"Wow, thank you, thank you Jade"
David was smiling. I saw Althea looked at him, fakes a smile then continued writing.
