Chapter 12 - the day before

Friday -- August 31st
No one

"Justin, guess what tomorrow is?" Cameron smiled in his face

"Uh, what's tomorrow?" Justin asked himself "wait don't tell me"

"Oh yea, tomorrow's your birthday" Justin grinned

"Did it really take you that long to realize it?" Cameron's face went straight

"No. I knew the whole time. I just like to mess with you" Justin laughed

"Well anyways, you're going to spent the whole day with me tomorrow"

Cameron took off her shirt midway into her closet.

"What do you want for your birthday?" Justin asked

"Uhm, I don't really know yet"

"Get to thinking or I'll just get whatever I'm comfortable with getting you" Justin got off the bed and walked over to the closet

"You know what? Surprise me" Cameron pulled her shirt over her head "do you still know ow to braid?"

"Yep" Justin smiled feeling confident

"Can you braid my hair back?"

"How many?"

"One"

"Yea, sit down"

Justin sat on the bed, while Cameron sat on the floor in front of him. He took the comb and spray bottle, easing up her curls before beginning.

"Cameron wh-" Jack walked in "....oh, okay" he shut the door, going back to his room

"Bro, I walked into Cameron's room and she was sitting on the floor, in a tee-shirt and panties, while Justin was braiding her hair, in nothing but sweatpants" Jack ranted to Gilinsky

"Now why would you tell me this and you know how I feel" he looked up at Johnson

"I just you would like to know" Johnson returned

"Does it look okay?" Cameron asked running her hand down the long braid

"Waaay better than I thought. I'm good" Justin smirked

"Okay, uhm. Tie a ribbon at the hair tie" Cameron grabbed a white ribbon from her desk

Justin focused when he tied the ribbon in, trying to get it perfect.

"And...finish" Cameron stood up and looked in the mirror

She gasped at how good Justin actually did on her braid. She turned around and jumped into Justin's lap

"Thank you, baby" Cameron giggled, kissing his cheek

Justin and Cameron walked downstairs, seeing Gilinsky and Johnson, with Aaron and the Dolan twins.

"Ethan, Grayson, I missed you guys" Cameron ran over and hugged them tight

"Hey, Ceejay. We missed you too, where you been?" Grayson chuckled

"I've been home, but on the weekends I go to my dads in San Francisco" Cameron smiled

"Woah, that's far, but it's good to see you again" Ethan smiled

Cameron hugged them one more time before going back to her business with Justin.

I'm going o have her one way or another... Gilinsky thought

"Justin, stop. You're gonna drop me" I squealed

"No I won't, just trust me"

I sat on Justin's shoulders as he played around.

My brother and Jack descended down the steps, as Justin turned around.

"Where are you guys going?" I asked

"Oh, I'm going somewhere important, jacks staying her till I get back" my brother explained

"Okay" I looked around "Justin, wanna watch a movie?"

"Sure"

Justin let me down from his shoulders. I went over to the Xbox and turned it on.

"What do you wanna watch?" I looked back.

Jack had already came back in and took place on the couch. Justin was seated in my big recliner.

"Uhm, I don't know"

"Gili?" I turned to his direction

"I don't care, whatever you want is fine" he shrugged his shoulders

"Okay, scary movie it is" I giggled

"Mom, can you dim the lights please?"

I watched as the lights died down.

"Thank you"

As I watched the movie, I'd seen Jack staring at Cameron from the corner of my eye. He was deep in thought and really focused. I understand that he has feelings for her, but he also has a girlfriend and Cameron doesn't like her. I also wouldn't mind him being mad at me for getting all of Cameron's attention, he's the one in the wrong and he knows it.

"Here comes a scary part" Cameron hid in my chest

"Don't be scared, I got you" my arms tightened around her body

"Oh shit!" Cameron hollered

"Camron!"

"Sorry mom" she apologized, silently giggling

Cameron fell asleep in my arms and Jack was asleep on the other couch. I slowly picked up Cameron and carried her to her room. I gently placed her in her bed, laying next to her. I covered our bodies before pulling her close.

"You know, Cameron. I've always loved you" I kissed her nose, closing my eyes
