"Wow you gonna try this hard huh?" I said spat harshly. It just kind of came out of me without thinking. Sometimes I just get so fed up with the fact that Lauren always gets whoever she wants. Everyone falls for her bad girl image and once she does the cute to sexy eyebrow thing its game over.
Shannon and Lauren would look good together and I hate that. They both have the wild child thing going on. Everyone knows Shannon is a free spirit who can occasionally get herself in trouble but its never anything really bad. Lauren only likes her because she thinks Shannon lives on the edge and is wild. I mean she does and she is, but I know there is another side to her. A side not many people know or even realize.
I knew Shannon would fall for Lauren over me. Everyone always does. But I'm not gonna give up this easy. If Lauren is gonna play this game. Game on Lauren.
Shannon POV
The loud beeping of my alarm clock wakes me up. I sigh looking at the window knowing the sun hasn't even risen yet. I believe that there should be a law against people having to wake up before the sun does. I know I sound like a baby, but a girl needs a little extra sleep sometimes. I have to say I used to be even worse when it came to mornings before I started working with Demi. I have gotten better with getting up in the morning over the years but I would be lying if I said it still wasn't a bit of a challenge.
I get up and walk to the kitchen of my big LA studio apartment which I used to own with Demi but since the break up she moved out and we agreed I would keep it. She has an second apartment in LA so she moved in there and now I have this big apartment all to myself. Its pretty lonely but Im not in it too much since I am alway traveling around the world.
I poured a cup of coffee and walked out onto the balcony that looked over the beautiful city I lived in. Seeing the bright city lights eluminate the sky was one of the most beautiful things in the world. I took a deep breath thinking about the day I had ahead of me.
I was excited to meet the Fifth Harmony girls officially. I knew of them of course since Demi practically thinks she put them together. I followed the show so I watched them through out the competition. There was no doubt they were talented. I was always super impressed with Camila though. Something about her always stood out to me.
Im pretty sure we ran into each other once while she was on the show but I was rushing out because Demi and I had just gotten into some kind of fight. I wish I had stopped and talked to her. I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little excited to see her and formally meet.
I was pulled out of my thoughts when all the sudden I felt my phone vibrate in the pocket of my sweat pants. I pull it out and see its a text from my manager Mason.
From Mason: You awake? You have to be at the bus in a hour and a half.
I rolled my eyes. He still thinks I'm that eighteen year old that could barley sign a consistent signature. Im twenty now, he has got to loosen the leash a bit.
To Mason: Yes dad!! I am awake and getting ready as we speak.
From Mason: Okay good! A car will be there to pick you up in a hour! Be ready! And don't give me that sass this early.
I wasn't going to piss him off this early by responding with some smart ass comment.
To Mason: Rodger that captain.
I got ready by putting on black skinny jeans, my favorite combat boots, a vintage band tee, and a red long sleeve flannel over it. I love jewelry so I had my usual rings, bracelets and a cross necklace on.
