If you want to, go ahead and Google Translate the parts that are in Italian xD You'll say 'Awwww.'

Jeremy and I were on the phone, talking about everything. High school, our friends, life in general. And then our future came up.

"Jeremy," I started. "How come we were never...a thing?"

"I really don't know," he crooned. "Do you want to become a thing or something?"

"Well, yeah..." I murmured, my heart beating much too fast. "But maybe you could come over and get to know the boys a little better before we make anything official. You know I like you, but them liking you is important, too. When's the best time for you?"

"I can come over right now, if you want," he stated. "I don't have work today."

I was so glad he couldn't see my ridiculous smile. "That would be great, actually. Yeah, start making your way over here. I'll be at the door."

"Okay, see ya, Jessie."

"See ya, Jeremy." I hung up and squealed as I walked into the living room, where the boys were sitting and watching cartoons. In about a minute's time, there was a knock on the door. I got up from the couch and opened it, seeing Jeremy's beautiful smile as I did.

"Ciao, signorina," he crooned in Italian, taking my hand and kissing it. I blushed really hard and the boys giggled.

"Hey," I said, staring at him as he walked inside. He had thick, curly black hair and his skin had a beautiful olive tone to it, thanks to his Italian father. His eyes were a very warm shade of brown, and the way they looked at me made me weak in the knees.

He walked over to the boys. "Hey, do you guys remember me?" he said.

"Yeah," Ken said. "You're the Shredder."

Jeremy chuckled. "Yeah, I was."

They talked for a few minutes, then we got out the Legos. As we were all contributing to building a mini neighborhood, SpongeBob SquarePants came on TV, and Jeremy nearly screamed the theme song. I was rolling on the floor and crying, I was laughing so hard. The boys were laughing too, of course, but they were more focused on building the grocery store for the Lego neighborhood. After we built our multicolored masterpiece, Jeremy helped me make authentic Italian style pizza for dinner. Everyone agreed it was the best pizza they'd ever had.

After we were done eating, I was putting everyone's plates and glasses in the dishwasher. Everyone was back in the living room, or so I thought, until I felt a pair of warm arms wrap around my waist from behind. My breathing hitched and I bit my lip.

"I know you doubt your parenting skills, but you're a natural," he murmured into my ear.

"Thank you," I whispered. I leaned into him and sighed happily. God, he was such a dream. I wanted him to be all mine.

He spun me around in his arms, holding me close to him. My heart was pounding and my breathing was very fast.

"Jessie..." he whispered, staring into my eyes. "Io vivo per la vostra felicità e piacere. Will you be mine, creatura più bella?"

Words failed me as he looked at me, so fondly and protectively. I only nodded, badly shaking from nerves. He smiled at me and cupped my cheek in his hand. I didn't understand the Italian words he had said, but I was sure the meaning of the words was just as beautiful as the way they sounded in Italian.

He leaned in and kissed me gently, holding my face in his hands. My heart was ramming into my rib cage, and I kissed him back, my fingers getting tangled in his dark locks.

We leaned away after some time, and I heard a gasp coming from the doorway. Oh, who on earth could that be? I thought, smiling and shaking my head. I looked over to see Mark's adorable face with his jaw nearly dropped to the floor. Jeremy and I laughed and I walked over to him.

"Mark, Jeremy is mommy's new boyfriend," I told him. "Is that okay with you?"

He nodded. "Yeah, he's funny."

I grinned and took Mark's and Jeremy's hands. "Let's go tell everyone else."

I walked into the living room with them. "Boys?" I said, getting their attention.

"Jeremy is my boyfriend now..." I stated, blushing, looking at Jeremy. They all cheered and laughed and told me that I picked a good one.

I couldn't help but agree with them.
