As he wandered the damaged halls of Hogwarts after the battle, Harry came across Professor McGonagall, who was attempting to repair a suit of armor. The weary witch looked for a moment at this boy who was far too young to have done so much, then she put her arms around him and hugged him gently. When she let him go, she kissed his forehead, right over his scar, and said, "I have never in my life been so proud of anything."
