I shuffled over to the cafeteria and slumped down into my seat, resting my head on my arms. The weekend had quickly flown by and already, it was lunch time on Monday.

"Hey Bel, aren't you gonna eat?"

I shook my head and gave Allen a forced smile. "I picked up some breakfast this morning, so I'm not hungry now."

Lie.

He looked uncomfortable for a second before he nodded his head. "If you say so..." he trailed off, looking at Jake. they seemed to have this silent conversation between them before he sat next to me, wrapping an arm around my waist.

"Aren't you gonna eat?" I asked him as I leaned into him.

"Yeah. But Jake's gonna grab a sandwich for me. I wanted to make sure you were okay."

I smiled at his words. "Thanks."

"What's been bugging you?"

I shrugged, trying to avoid the question. "I .... I'm fine."

He didn't believe me. Not one bit. "Blade told us what happened."

"I figured he would."

"Are you still mad at Chris?"

"....No."

He sighed. "Then why are you in such a ... depressing mood?" He scrunched up his face, as if unsure about his words.

I shrugged again, causing him to sigh.

"How about I take you out to dinner or something tonight?"

I forced a smile on my face before I nuzzled my face into his neck. "Maybe not tonight. I'm just kinda ... tired today."

He sighed, giving me a final squeeze before he pulled back so he could look at me properly.

"Okay ... but please promise me you won't do anything stupid, okay?"

I smiled, nodding my head as I gave him a peck on his lips.

"I promise."
