I walked down the street on a cloudy day, zipping up my jacket as I did. I was going to my favorite cafe on the outskirts of town because it was never crowded. I stood and waited at the bus stop with a handful of other people trying to get to their destinations and I felt someone walk up next to me. I didn't think anything of it, just another person waiting for the bus. Who ever it was was pretty tall and seemed to tower over me. Again, didn't think much of it until that person stood really close to me. I scooted over a little, trying not to make it obvious, but the stepped closer. I pretended I was pacing and took a few steps forward, to the side, then back. That person did the exact same. I subconsciously cleared my throat. The weird thing is, so did the person. I raised an eyebrow and looked at him out of the corner of my eye. I put my elbow up to my mouth and coughed, and so did he. Just what is this guy doing? Is he copying me? When the bus came, I thanked god and got on. I sat on the right side, and the guy sat on the left side right in my row. I ignored him and waited until we got to my stop. It was about a 20 minute ride, not counting the time it takes to stop at other stops, and he didn't get off at a single one of them. I just kept feeling like he was watching me without actually looking at me. I sighed in relief when we got to my stop. As I stood up, I noticed that the guy was still sitting. I figured he wasn't getting off and I quickly scooted off the bus. I was finally free from the tension. I walked for a minute then reached the cafe. I stepped inside where it was much warmer than outside. I went and ordered my favorite drink and cake then sat at my favorite table. Just when I thought I was free from the tension, the atmosphere became heavy again and my heartbeat sped up. I looked towards the door and saw the same guy from before. Is he following me now?! I was kind of freaked out and even more when we made eye contact. I quickly looked away and went back to eating. Please don't sit next to me, please don't sit next to me. And what does he do? He sits at the table next to me! I try not to look at him and stuff another piece of cake in my mouth. I was a little curious and glanced over at his table. He even ordered the same thing as me! I set my fork down and sat back, so did he. I grabbed my cup and slowly brought it to my lips, so did he. I took a drink and went to set it back down, but I quickly pulled it back up. He was caught off guard and tried to pull his cup back up. "Aha! You're copying me!" I yelled, pointing to him. He looked shocked, but started smirking. "I'm not." He simply said. "Yes you are! You've been following and copying me since before we got on the bus! What's you're problem? Are you some kind of creep?!" I yelled, earning looks from the few other people in there. "H-Hey, no need to yell." He said, putting his hands out. "No, I will yell!" "Ma'am, you need to keep your voice down." The cashier said. "Unless I want to get kicked out." I said quietly, still mad. "But it doesn't matter, I'm leaving. And don't follow me this time." I threw my trash away and went outside to feel water land on my face. "Great." I said. I used my bag as a shield and it only rained harder. I didn't want to get soaked, so I ducked under and awning of a store that was closed and looked out at the rain. I could barely see anything. "What am I supposed to do now? I can't wait here, it could take forever." I crossed my arms. The cold rain breeze gave me the chills and I pulled my jacket around me tighter. "Here." Someone put their coat on me. I jumped a little in surprise and saw the creepy stalker. "What do you want now?" I asked. "You must be freezing, you're all wet." "Yeah, well thanks for stating the obvious." I said sarcastically. "But I don't need your charity." I handed his coat back to him and he grabbed it and put it back on me. "But you're wearing a thin jacket." "And you're wearing a thin hoodie, just don't worry about me." I kept looking out into the rain hoping he would go away. "Aw, but are you worried about me?" I looked at him. "No! What are you saying." I mumbled. He put his coat tighter around me and I gave in, it smelled nice though which was a plus. The rain started to let up and I gave his coat back to him. "I think I can make it to the bus stop without getting poured on." I said. "Well, see ya." I started walking into the light rain and he called out to me. "Wait!" He ran back out and opened his umbrella and managed to put his coat back on me. "We don't want you getting sick." He said. "Why are you so concerned? You don't even know me." "Hi, I'm Junhong. And you are?" I raised an eyebrow. "(Y/n)." I said. He smiled. "There, now I know you." He grabbed my hand and kissed it. "It's a pleasure to meet you, (Y/n)." I grinned. "Are you trying to make a move on me?" "I don't know, is it working?" "I don't know. Maybe if you didn't stalk me like a creep, it would've worked better. He laughed and looked down. "Sorry about that. I just wanted to get your attention." I chuckled. "Right, well you certainly have my attention now." There was a short pause. "Are we not going to acknowledge how too freakishly tall you are for us to be walking together under and umbrella?" I asked, looking up at him. He smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, here." He handed me the umbrella and walked in the rain. "No, don't do that." I linked my arm with his and pulled myself closer to him and handed him the umbrella. He took it in his other hand and unlinked his arm from mine, putting it around me. I don't think we could've been any closer. "Isn't this like what couples do?" I asked. "Well you started it." I blushed at the realization. "Right, sorry." I tried to pull away, but he held me closer. "No, you might as well stay here. I like it." "So (y/n), what are you going to do now?" I shrugged. "I was just gonna go back home." "Well instead, do you want to go get dinner with me?" I "As long as you don't try to copy me anymore ya creep." He laughed. "I promise." He winked and I shook my head, laughing.
