We entered the foyer after I transported us back home. Zara hugged me smiling and I chuckled hugging back. "Welcome home Saraphine." I nuzzled my head on her shoulder. It was nice to feel at home somewhere. I looked at Adresin after our embrace ended and he sneered at me. I noticed he still had his glamour down and smiled more.

Zara was anxious to teach me a few tricks for my glamour in the human world before I returned to my family. Adresin disappeared to the battle room. I followed Zara back to the room of mirrors bounding with joy. We entered the room and I parted all the plants from the mirrors. I didn't fear them anymore knowing that nothing on this side of the mirrors wanted to harm me. She pulled a mirror off the wall and I asked a few trees to grow and help hold it up. It was nice to be in control of it.

'You will be able to control it in the human world as well.' The forest whispered my ear. I smiled. It was different having a voice in my head but it wasn't evil or crazy either. 'My name is Tallis my moriko.' It said and I nodded. Zara stood behind the mirror and I could see her. I stood in front of her as she used glamour to be me without her eye patch. I smiled seeing her eye was still pink and I thought it was adorable.

"okay so I want you to imagine your hair a different color," she interrupted my thoughts, "then run your fingers through your hair willing it to change." She grinned matching my movements perfectly. I looked at my raven black hair and thought of it being silver, like Adresin's was. I did as she told me to do and ran my  fingers over my hair willing it to change. I watched in the mirror as it did exactly that and gasped smiling.

"whoa!" I exclaimed.

She grinned. "you can do that to any part of you. Once you get the hang of it you can change your appearance head to toe without a single movement and in the blink of an eye." Zara explained excitedly. I chuckled as she pushed the mirror back to where it belonged. I stretched. 'Tonight was my last night in La Aurore Jellika.'  I thought to myself and felt a pinch of sadness. I felt a warmth around me like a hug and realized it was Tallis. I smiled again. "I'm gonna try and sleep before I have to go back." I told Zara who nodded in agreement.

I turned to the door and started for my room. I was half way there when I was pulled to the side by someone into a side closet. I about punched the person until I saw it was just Adresin. He looked at me in silence as I waited for an explanation. He shook his head clearing his throat. "Right sorry. Your hair just shocked me." I blushed and shook my hair out willing it to return to normal. By Adresin's look of relief it had done so.

Adresin looked at me with a different light in his eyes that made my skin tingle. "I couldn't help but watch you progress through the time you have been here." He said his voice just barely above a whisper. I could feel his warm breath  on my skin in the tight space and tried to control the race of my heart. "But I also couldn't help to notice your beauty especially after you dropped your glamour. The kindness in your heart. Everything about you." His voice got softer as he spoke placing a hand on my cheek his thumb brushing against my skin.

I felt my cheeks rush with heat as I watched him look into my eyes. He glanced at my lips and before I knew it his fingers were twined in my hair the other hand against the small of my back and his lips pressed against mine. I melted into him my eyes falling shut kissing him back, my arms wrapping around his neck. My mind went blank during the magic and I felt the magic swirling around us literally and figuratively.

When he pulled away with a gasp for air I saw the tiny sparkles in the air around us and smiled. It was beautiful. He was beautiful. I placed my hand on his exposed chest looking into his eyes. "you look better without your glamour as well." I whispered and he pecked my lips, kissing my forehead. I blushed more before he opened the closet door gesturing for me to exit first. I looked down at my fingers which were fiddling with each other.

"You leave in the morning. you should get some rest." he said softly and I heard the sorrow in his voice. I looked at him.

"I can't leave without knowing your story" I said gingerly. He smiled slightly before letting it disappear again.

"maybe if you ever return I will tell you my story. But not tonight. You need to sleep and prepare to re-enter the human world." I pouted walking to my room. I was exhausted and it all hit me at once when I laid in my bed. It wasn't long before I fell into a deep sleep.

The next morning Zara was the one shaking me awake. "it's almost noon Saraphine." I grumbled rolling over pulling the pillow over my face. I jumped when I felt a shock in my rear end.

"what the heck?!" Zara grinned holding up a miniature spear with a spark on it. I growled at her as she tossed clothes at me. They were elegant and simple. It was a lavender off shoulder long sleeve shirt with pink trim that showed my stomach and a floor length skirt to match. I yawned pulling the outfit on and heading to the room of mirrors. I entered seeing Adresin and Zara waiting in front of my mirror which was in its full size.

On the other side I saw my room and I felt a strong rush of sorrow. I wasn't ready to leave La Aurore Jellika. Adresin looked up at me and his jaw dropped. He quickly recomposed himself before saying. "You look lovely."

"She should," Zara stated, "it was her mothers royal dress." I looked down at myself. I was wearing my birth mothers clothes. Zara stood on the right side of the mirror and Adresin stood on the left. They both waited for me. I looked at the mirror taking a breath and walked over. I touched the surface watching it ripple at my touch. I looked back at the two and saw Zara smiling, "I will see you everyday Saraphine remember that." she reassured me.

I looked to Adresin who was looking everywhere but in my direction. I looked down with a slight nod before stepping through. Once through I turned around and saw nothing but my reflection. I bit my lip my eyes welling with tears. Zara waved at me before disappearing. I could hear soft muttering before Adresin stood in front of me instead of my reflection. I blushed lightly looking at him.

He touched the mirror his hand pressed to the glass. I put my hand to his a soft smile playing on his lips. "you already know my parents died and about my sister. I came to live at the castle after that to keep things in order until the princesses return. And what a princess you are," he said softly. I blushed even more. "I will be waiting on your return to La Aurore Jellika and you will hear from us if we are in need of your help." he informed me before disappearing.

I touched the mirror and watched it fall into the palm of my hand. I quickly changed my glamour to how I was supposed to look in the human world then walked upstairs, mirror in pocket. My parents were at work so I decided to handle business I should've done a long time ago. I picked up my phone that sat on the counter fully charged.

I smiled knowing my parents kept everything ready for when I would come home. I opened my messaging and texted Ryan. 'Hey can you come over?' I set my phone to the side making myself lunch. My stomach growled at me just as my phone buzzed. I put some pizza in the microwave before looking at my messages. 'Yeah. Be there in 5.' He responded.

I rolled my eyes. He lives ten minutes from  me so how would he make it here in five I sarcastically asked myself. I ate my pizza at the table waiting. Contemplating. I jumped slightly out of my thoughts when the doorbell went off. I got up to open the door only to see Ryan himself. He grinned embracing me into a tight hug. I tensed slightly.

"man have I missed you." He mumbled into my hair. I sneered. I pulled away looking up at him. No games. No falling for the guilt trip I told myself. I straightened my shirt.

"Ryan, I know about you cheating on me. It's over." Ryan looked dumbfounded before calling me a bitch and leaving. I felt a pinch of guilt in my stomach. I heard a tapping from my pocket. I pulled out my mirror to see Zara giving me a thumbs up. I smiled. "Hope to see you back here soon, and not because of trouble." Zara chuckled and disappeared.
