Wolfs P.O.V
This is it. Todays the day of the rankings for Eric, I'm really hoping he will get first. He worked so hard for it, and he's determined to get the position of leader. He's lucky, this year we decided to skip the final fear landscapes in front of Jeanine, if that happened Eric would have been dead.
"Initiates! Your rankings are today! Be ready" I yell while banging the steel cup against the wall, I smirk at the groans and curses and walk away towards the pit. I bet Erics a bit tired,we stayed up all last night... ya know... yep.
As soon as I enter the pit I hear Zeke and his crew howl at me, I laugh a bit because of the fact he always does this to me, I walk towards Mai and Jake
"Hey my best friends!" I say while snatching a muffin off the table
"What did you do?" Mai questions
"What do you mean?" I ask while taking a bite from my muffin
"You never say 'HEY MY BEST FRIENDS'" Jake says while mimicking the way I speak, I roll my eyes
"Cant I be nice for like a second?"
"No" Mai and Jake say in unison
"Ok then... let me try again" I say while putting my muffin down and walking away, I stroll back with a glare
"Hey Bitches" I say coldly and sit down
"THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!" Jake yells while Mai and I burst out laughing
"Ill say that then" I say laughing
"So I heard the rankings are today... Is lover boy going to be first?" Jake says with a smirk playing on his lips
"Shut up dude, I don't even control that anyways. Hunter and Max do" I say
"You think Erics gonna be first?" Mai questions, I raise my eyebrow
"I have no idea, Eric and Four are way too close the last time I checked, they were one point off of each other. I can't be too sure." I say keeping my worries inside and nibbling on the side of my muffin.
"I don't think the Stiff is gonna do it." Mai states
"Who knows? I mean I've met him he's physically and mentally strong" Jake says, I nod and look towards the door when Eric comes in.
'His hair looks nice today... he put gel in it maybe. Either way my boyfriend is hot' I think but I'm knocked out of my thoughts when I hear my name being called
"WOLF!"
"Huh..." I murmur averting my attention from Eric to my friends
"Looking at lover boy huh?" Mai teases while Jake laughs and smirks down at the table
'He knows something...'
I glare at them and toss the muffin wrapper at them, but of course they both dodge it
"Nah, but like seriously are you two together or what? I see him looking at you with a look of love in his eyes sometimes, same with you" Mai says sincerely, I keep my smile inside
'He looks at me like that?'
"No, didn't I say thats against Dauntless rules? We aren't together" I lie
"Yeah. Ok" Jake mutters
"I have to go ink up some people, see ya later guys" Mai says while getting up and leaving
"Walk me to the control room?" Jake says
"Yeah sure... Why? You scared Jakey-poo?" I tease and turn the corner with Jake
