I was inspired to write this because Markiplier is going through a tough time right now, and it's like there's a wound on his heart. I encourage you to go show him, Matt, and Ryan some love on Twitter or wherever you can find them. They would appreciate your support. P.S. This part probably isn't going to be very long.

It was a nice day outside, perfect weather to just sit and relax. I brought the boys outside so they could run around and actually play outside, unlike the rest of their generation. I watched them play tag, hide and seek, and 'brother' may I, as they called it, in the backyard while I sat in my lounging chair and read a book.

In the middle of a bunch of giggling and running around, I heard a thud, then crying, and all the other boys yelling 'Mommy!' I looked up to see Mark sitting on his butt, crying with the others boys surrounding him. I walked over to him and saw that he had a scrape on his knee, probably from the tree root that was sticking up out of the ground a few inches away from where he was sitting. I knelt down and took his hand.

"Mark, I'm gonna bring you inside and clean you up, but I need you to stand up for me."

He sniffled and wiped his face. "O-okay," he stuttered. He pulled on my hand as he stood up, his eyes tearing up a bit more when he was on his feet.

I stood up and held his hand as we walked through the backdoor back into the house, with the other ducklings following us. "I know it hurts, baby, but you'll be okay," I assured him. When we made it into the bathroom, I picked him up and sat him on the counter. I gathered the first-aid supplies and started tending to his wound.

"It's alright, sweetie," I said as I wiped off his knee with a cold, wet washcloth. "It'll all be over soon." I wiped away his tears with my thumb as I applied the disinfectant gel to his knee. I put a bandage on his knee when I was done. "See? All better." I kissed the bandage.

He hopped down from the counter and hugged my legs. "Thank you, mommy," he murmured. "I love you."

My heart melted. That was the first time he said that other than we he told me goodnight when I tucked him in.

"I love you, too, Mark," I said, patting his head. "Are you gonna be okay?"

"Yeah," he said, letting go of my legs and looking up at me. But soon after, something caught his eye. He looked around my legs and focused on something behind me. I turned around and saw three little heads peaking around the half-closed door.

I laughed. "Nosy much?"

"No," Ken said, shaking his head, looking more guilty than the other two. I just smiled.

We all went to the living room went on with our days, acting as if nothing happened. After all, it was just a boo-boo.
