Wednesday Morning

You let out a groan as you heard a buzzing sound coming from your nightstand by your bed. The soft groan that escaped from the back of you throat slightly woke up Liam as he grunted against your chest. You slightly fluttered your eyes open and closed them back. You weren't asleep but you couldn't help but close your eyes and let them rest. Liam had trouble sleeping last night and it kept you up most of the night with his soft cries, whimpering, and calling out your name.

The buzzing buzzed again. You slowly lifted your head from your pillow and peeked an eye open to see your phone lighting up and vibrating on the nightstand. You had no idea how you were going to get your phone as you were tightly secured in Liam's hold. With his head resting at that crook of your neck, his arms were still wrapped around you and your legs were entangled with his under the sheets. If you so much made one move, Liam would swarm and only tighten his hold on you. Getting out of his grip was going to be a lot harder than you thought it would be.

You slowly slipped your hand from his torso and it worked. Liam didn't move a muscle and he was still sleeping against you. You slowly and gracefully extended your arm above his head and grabbed your phone. You saw unread messages from Isaac.

Need to talk to you. I'm on my way.

I'm here.

Open the door.

If you're asleep, that's fine. I'll wait here until you're awake.

Crap, you mentally groaned. You were screwed. You had to get out of Liam's grip. You slowly removed yourself. Liam groaned and tightened his grip around you.

"Shhhhhhh," you shushed. "I have to pee," You lied. You knew he wouldn't catch it half asleep. "I'll be right back," you pressed a soft kiss to his forehead as he mumbled an okay and let go of you.

As soon as you quietly closed your door, you bolted to the front door. You heard Isaac shuffle from the front porch swing to the front door the second he heard you unlocking the lock. The second you opened the door a wave of relief washed over you as the tall, curly haired boy with piercing blue eyes stood in front of you without a scratch on him. He was okay. He survived the crazy night everyone seemed to have last night.

You both pulled each other into a tight hug.

"I'm so glad you're okay," you whispered by his ear. "I was worried about you."

"I'm right here." Isaac began to stroke your hair. "I'm glad you're okay too."

You pulled away and opened the door wider, motioning him to come in. The both of you sat in the dining room with a cup of coffee. Considering the long night the two of you had, you needed some caffeine in your system.

"So, Scott's okay?" You sighed.

"Yeah, your boy," Isaac's eyes flared up to your room, "did a real good job on him. Theo just finished the job."

You flinched at his choice of words. You still couldn't believe Liam had done such a thing to Scott. You needed to hear his side of the story before you jumped into any conclusions.

"But Melissa?" Isaac let out a soft whistle. "That woman is a hero. She brought her son back to life after being dead for 15 minutes."

Your throat went a little dry at the thought of Melissa sobbing and not giving up on her one and only child.

Isaac's hand reached for yours, pulling you out of your thoughts. "He's going to be okay. He's at home resting." He squeezed your hand.

"What about Stiles and Theo?" You suddenly remembered. "Did Jackson make it on time?"
