As a child, Sherlock was easily bored, craving constant stimulus to keep him from casuing chaos in the house. His parents decided music lessons might help. He took to the piano like a duck in the water but within months he outpaced the lecturer and lost interest. His teacher suggested violin as it would be more challenging - a stringed instrument with no frets , recquiring much more practice and finesee to master, in the violin he found discipline and order for his mind, artistic expression for his soul.
