If someone would ask Mycroft what the worst thing sherlock ever did to him is he'd say something like 'shooting Magnussen" or 'breking into top secret military bases'. Truth is the worst thing was when Sherlock smiled at him for the first time as a toddler, because that was the first time, Mycoft developed real feelings for a person.
