My muscles froze for a second when I realised what I had just called David, but my body was in control and soon back to running, to anyone who had been watching me I wouldn’t have looked like I had stopped, I was coming in from the wrong angle, I know and so did my wolf but neither of us could let the wolf kill David, so when I reached the wolf, I didn’t come up behind it I came across his attack meaning instead of it getting David it got me in the side, my howl echoed of all the trees and it seemed like every fight in the place stopped and all turned to look at me, I had turned human just like Ed did because the pain was to o much for are wolfs to deal with that they left it to are human form to deal with, I fell to the ground cluching my side, were there was now no skin at all my hip bone was on show and you could see right into my body, I couldn’t look it any longer then to see the damage, to my surprise the wolf who had do it to me was the one who ran at me, it turned when it got to me, his human from was a young boy couldn’t be any older the Mich, his eyes were wide when he dropped to his knees next to me, he was crying see told you misguided, the words I fell unconscious to were “What have I done?”  

Mary 

I watch as all the guys ran off into the forest to get Sam back, I sat down heavily on the sofa, and Ash came and sat next to me, Kelly and Sophie sat on the other, mum and Tess were sat each on a arm chair, none of us looked at each other, or talked we knew that all over the community were other women and girls waiting to hear something anything, Oliver walked out of his room his cast was of because his wolf had healed him even though he isn’t old enough to change his wolf’s blood is still pumping in his veins, he looked round us all then sat down on the floor with his back against the sofa in between Ash and mine legs he signed and said the first words which had been spoken since the guys left, “well I guess they have gone then” we all nodded slowly the lapsed back into silence.

I don’t know how long we had all just been sat there, because I couldn’t see the clock form my seat, but then we heard and cry of pain and knew the first injured person was hear, mum practically ran to the door, bang it open, “Oh god Ed”

Jackson

Everyone stopped their fights most hardly moving or breathing as my angel’s very loud scream of pain vibrated through the battle field, I managed to turn round stiffly to find her on the floor with a young guy knelt down next to her, my thoughts shifted to David who had a better view of her wound than me, and as I soon as I saw the look on his face I wish I hadn’t it was shocked, scared, angry, and disgusted.

I went to take a step towards my fallen angel, but I should have know Erik would be the first one to fight again, he lunged at my back, using a snarl which aware me of his attack I span round and blocked his attack just in time, I was attacking him but now I was hardly enjoying the fight sure I wanted this barsted dead more now than ever but my brain was worrying about my mate, in my head I heard three voices, one Brandon’s ‘I got her don’t worry she’s breathing’, the second was David’s ‘he’ll take here back Jay’ and the last Nathan, who sent me a mental image of Brandon carrying my angel, as I bite into Erik’s flesh again I could t help but think about what I would do if Sam died, and that just fuelled my anger further causing my teeth to close round Erik’s neck and rip, I almost killed him, I span to see the guy who had been knelling next to Sam earlier, he was around fifteen, “No more killing” he said to me shakily, and he sack to his knees and put his hand on Erik’s hair with a smile “ At least not him” the look in his eyes made me freeze, this guy was Erik’s mate.  

David

I saw from the corner of my eyes Jackson go for the kill on Erik, he was almost there, then he was pushed out the way by the guy who had hurt my daughter, I frowned when Jackson didn’t attack him, I had no one else to fight so I ran over and stood next to Jackson ready to help him fight both of the guys, but I when saw what Jackson must have already saw I stopped, they were mates, Jackson was staring at the young boy, well I say young he was around the age you first turn as he sat with Erik in his arms rocking backwards and forwards, he looked up at Jackson and said quietly “Sorry about Sam” that did it Jackson started to cry, something I had never seen him do before.

I stepped away from silently crying Jackson and shouted “THAT IS ENOUGH! ENOUGH HAVE DIED TONIGHT” let my alpha command echo off every solid object, my pack instantly stopped because my command affected them so much, slowly Erik’s pack stopped to. I looked round to see not that many bodies, which I was thankfully for.

Sophie

We had just finished badgering Ed’s shoulder which was already healing when the door opened to Brandon carrying Sam, his skin was covered in her blood, and we all froze the Ash spoke “What happened?” she moved forward as she spoke “Bite to the side” said Brandon emotionally his voice was think and he looked like he might cry and I knew why when he put down Sam body, half her side was gone nothing but bone and you could almost see her organs, I walked to my twins head and kissed her temple. As if it was sleeping beauty she woke up gasping for air, “Jackson?” she whimpered we all turned and looked to were Brandon had his head in his hands, “Still at the fight” he murmured. Then he got up and walked up behind were Kelly was stood next to me, he took her waist in his arms the spoke to Sam “You need to change” he said sadly knowing how much pain she would be in to do so, but she did without any arguments knowing it was what she had to do.

Locus

I walked with Ed in my arms, Gabe and his mate Emma, Jacksons sister walked hand in hand next to me, and Grace, Sarah, Stacy and John walk behind us, I moved Ed in my arms, and he cried out guilt instantly ran through me knowing I had causing my handsome mate more pain, I feel tears start to fall down my face, then Ed’s warm hand cupped my cheek “hey don’t cry handsome, I 'm fine” I looked down into his beautiful eyes to only see the love he had for me pumping out of them, but my attention was snapped again to in front of us were mum shout “Oh god Ed”

I let mum and Tess, help Ed, by bandaging his shoulder, then the door opened to Brandon holding Sam, oh god does it always have to be my little sister people hurt, I couldn’t bear to look at what injury she had this time so I took Ed’s hand lacing are finger’s together and pulled him up into our room.

He sat on the bed and I sat next to him, I turned my head to see him smiling at me, I couldn’t help but smile back even though he was hurt he was ok, I kissed him softly, and he kissed me back, swiping his tongue across my lip begging for entrance that I gave him, he started to lie down on his back trying to get me to follow with his oh so inviting lips, I didn’t though I pulled away and said softly “No”, tears sprang to his eyes, and I whipped them away just as he croaked out “Do you not like me anymore?” I never knew Ed was so insecure about me liking him, I kissed his tear drop which had made it past my fingers to his cheek “Don’t ever think that I don’t like you, I love you ok, it’s your injured and I don’t want to hurt you.” His tears stopped and he kissed me, then pulled away “Ok let’s just talk until the others get here”
