You knew you missed him the most when you were like this together. You missed him like how you missed seeing the stars in the sky during the day, and when it came to moments like these, you knew you'd only be lonely again. You'd be without him. Without Yoongi.

You accepted the fact that Yoongi would not always be around. You knew that his love for music would always be his main priority. He breathed it; it was all he knew. That made you love him even more. Just the fact that he was so passionate about it made your toes curl and your smile widen. Even though you would be upset when he left, something made you stay. Maybe it was times you had together with him like this.

You lay with him on the bed. Your legs were intertwined with his while you both lay on your sides facing each other intimately. His sugary vanilla scent filled your nose and you loved the way his chin rested on the top of your head so he could cuddle you easier. Maybe that made you stay as well. His arms were hugging you tightly, gripping you at the small of your back and yours gripped on his chest. The room was quiet, but all you could hear was his soft gentle breathing in your ears. He was the calmest of sleepers you had come across, and quite frankly he was the best.

The friction between your clothes and the sheets sang freely as his outside arm made its way up your body to your cheek. '(Y/N),' he muttered slowly, his voice rough.

'Hmmm,' you eventually returned to him faintly, still half asleep.

'I love you so much. Please never forget that,' Yoongi said with a crack in his voice. You were now fully awake hearing what he had said. And you couldn't figure out why he would suddenly say something like that.

'I won't forget. I love you too,' you said in an enchanting tone. You suddenly felt your back being turned and pushed hard against the bed, hands hard on your shoulders. You opened your eyes and they immediately met Yoongi's own. His was staring straight into yours with a hard look, his eyes filled with bother. He swiftly loosened at the feel of your stiffness, letting you relax, and him sitting up beside you with his head down and his eyes shut closed. 'Sorry,' he mumbled and you forgave him for scaring you. But you felt his lacking aura and you knew he wanted to talk.

'(Y/N), I am not saying that I love you at the spare of the moment,' he started, looking for the right words to say, 'I'm not saying it for me, I am not saying it for anyone but you. You have never left me, (Y/N), and I owe you everything for that. I owe you everything for putting up with me when I'm tired, when you make me food because I'm too exhausted to make it myself, when you do basically everything for me, but most importantly when I leave you lonely.' His voice cracked but he picked himself up, looking to start again but you had already embraced him in a deep hug, clinging to the back of his white, baggy t-shirt. He gasped silently but then nuzzled his face into your neck and you the same to him.

'Yoongi I stay because I love you. I love the way you smile and laugh at my lame jokes, well some of them. I love the way you look in the sun and you remind me of the stars at night – full of wisdom and love to give. You are enough for me to stay. Just you.' You voice with promise in his ear. He didn't need to say anything, you could see his appreciation though the way he looked at you. Delicately and affectionately.

You pulled Yoongi's face closer with yours and kissed his soft, pink lips with him returning it. You wiped the wetness for his face and gave him a reassuring smile and he kissed you again before your legs were wedged between each other again and you held one another tightly as you both were content in the arms of the other drifting unhurriedly back to your dreams.

What was Yoongi to you? He was your light that shone through the darkest days, the wisdom that ascended from the stars and hope that endearingly rumoured through his soft breaths. He was Min Yoongi and he was everything to you.
