"Blythe, you have to look at me. You have to look into my eyes and listen to what I want to tell you." He said as he caressed my cheeks with his two thumbs. I forced myself to blink and I did. "Mahal na mahal kita. You may be hotheaded and pottymouthed, but I don't give a single damn because I want to be in your life. I accept you for who you are, who you were and who you will turn out to be."

I want him to speak, to tell me more. And he did.

"You're crazy, and a little immature at times. And oh, have I mentioned that you're also very incorrigible? But despite that, I want you to keep in mind that I will never want any other woman. You're all that I want."

He took my hand and kissed them. "These hands are the only hands I want to hold and fidget after a tiresome day at work."

"These shoulders are the only shoulders I want to fall asleep in whenever I'm feeling unsure."

He kissed my eyes. "These eyes are the eyes I want to see on my kids one day."

He held my chin. I'm not that good with words. But I know, deep down that Alexander is the man I want to spend the rest of my entire life with.

"Pag-iisipan ko 'yung ganyang speech ko," bulong ko. "Maghintay ka lang."

He chuckled. "I'm patient."

I let myself enjoy his presence. When lunch time was over, I told him that I have to go. He offered to drive me home, but I brought Ka Chow with me. We can't keep our hands to ourselves, parang si Selena Gomez lang. Besides, I have to study the recipes on the cookbook Amanda lent me.

"Hey!" asik niya. She looked sophisticated with her hair swept to one side. She wore a tight-fitting low-cut dress. She has good style, I'll give her that.

She paused. "Wait. I know you." Pagak siyang natawa. "Yeah. I do. Blythe, right?"

The nerve of this woman? Who does she think she is?

"I'm Abigail.

"Abigail who? Sorry, hindi ka niya nabanggit. You must not be that relevant."

"Relevant? You want to talk about relevance, dear? Para sabihin ko sa'yo..." She took a step closer, trying to intimidate me. "I used to date Alexander."

"Oh. Ano'ng nangyari? Nasaan ka ngayon sa buhay niya? 'Di ba wala? Still irrelevant, Abigail." Are you that obssessed with him na pati ako kilala mo?"

"Don't flatter yourself.

"Masyado kang mayabang, Blythe. You dare call me flavor of the month? I bet he's not even serious with you. When he gets bored, itatapon ka na lang niya ng basta-basta. You should even be thanking me that I give you a heads up."
"Abigail, look." I clenched my hands into fists, but I clenched them as soon as I realized that my anger is spiraling out of control.

Matagal siyang natahimik bago nagsalita. "I don't believe that he's serious with you. I bet he hasn't introduced you to his parents," she said. I felt like I have swallowed my tongue. "I feel like I've hit a spot."

I finally snapped.

She flashed me one final defeated glare before she walked away.

RUN. Bitch.

"I'm at the lobby."
"What are you still doing there?" he asked. "Akala ko ba uuwi ka na?"
"Change of plans. You're coming with me."
"What? Saan?"

I blew out an annoyed sigh. "Sa bahay niyo. Mamamanhikan na ako."
