The morning air was cold today, there was a slight breeze of leaves, and a girl standing in the bus stop, clutching the strap of her bag and watching her watch continuously while waiting for the bus. Dressed in a decent kurti with a floral print, blue wide-leg jeans with jhumka. Strands of her open hair caught the breeze, floating softly around her face.
Think of her dressed like this 😜

The bus finally came and the passengers were all eager to get on the bus pushing each other like the bus would go on without taking the passengers. And here our girl Vanshika Agarwal stood at last waiting patiently to let others go first, even when she was really late.
Vanshika POV:
Hey kanha, finally I got on the bus and as always Rajiv uncle greeted me.
"Late morning beta. Are beta maaf karna, aaj thora jyada he late ho gya." I chuckled softly and said,"Uncle..it's okay. Thora he late hua hai. Ab bas jaldi school pohoch na hain."
He always greets me. And I've been going on his bus for two years. He is a kind man.
I was watching out the window, while a kid came tugging on my kurti. I looked beside me and saw one lady sitting beside me with her kid on her lap. The kid looked at me with big doe eyes. And i smiled looking at the cuteness.
"Didi, can I sit on your lap to see the outside" , the kid asked me.
I laughed softly and said "yeah, sure. Come." And her mother smiled at me and said "sorry, he is just a bit talkative ". I reassured her by saying it's okay. He is happy.
I bid them bye before going out as my stop finally came. I knew I was late today and i have to confront the principal now. I quickly got inside my school and went to the teachers room. All the teachers were already going to their respective classes. Rima mam was sitting on my chair when she saw me she said "wohh. You are too late dude."
"Yeah..i know. The bus was late today. BTW why are you sitting freely? Your classes?", I asked while picking my books and register, already going for my class.
"Well, I'm lucky today. A new teacher came for training. And he is taking a proxy class." She said dramatically. "Drama queen. Well then enjoy. I'm already late so I'll get going now."
While in the classroom --
All the students stood up and greeted me Good morning. After they settled down, i took their roll call. One ------------- fifteen, thirty-nine, thirty-nine??
I sighed, "Arnav? You're present right? If you don't say present and come out of the desk, I'll mark as absent, and then call your parents." , As soon as I shouted this, he jumped up on his seat like an obedient student and said Present ma'am!. The whole class laughed And I shook my head at his actions.
"Ok soo, take out your English books. All of you. And Riya?, shall I come and sit with you so I can also hear the gossip." She giggled and said sorry mam. I shook my head again.
"So, this was the last question. And I know if I ask you all now whether you have doubts or not, you all will say, nooo ma'am. Thats why I'm saying if anyone have any doubt, ask me tomorrow. Alright? ", as soon as i finished saying these, the bell rang. And i went out.
Author POV:
While on the other side of the city--
Agastya Rathore, that boy every mother wishes to have. He is a simple man, with no demands. The morning light reaches his study desk, but here is the thing, he is a morning bird. And now he is rechecking the already checked files, sipping coffee on the other hand.
His mother, the one he loves more than work , always tells people, he is the best son i could ever get. He can do anything, My Agast. You know he is the most innocent in this entire world, you won't get any other, cause he is the one and only piece. That's the story. And every time he goes somewhere, his mother tells the same story to each and every person possible.
Agastya POV:
As the morning light finally reached my desk, I was finished with the work.
I know nobody does this at legit 5 am in the morning (or maybe do). In my house nobody wakes up before 7.30 except my maa. I think I got this phobia of a morning bird from my maa. Yeah that's what people call me. Because i wake up at 4, then jog, gym, and then finish up the work.
"Agast???, are you awake beta?" Here comes my mother, she always says this even after knowing I woke up. Maybe every mother does. But she? She is the Superhero of my life, i know everyone has a superhero as their father but for me, its my maa.
I was deep in my thoughts, the i heard- "Beta, what are you waiting for? Get freshen up quickly, I'll get your breakfast. You know your papa, he is still sleeping, I've to wake him up."
" Maaaa! I know. I'm 27 not 5 years."
"Yeah, but still you're small. Understood?" She said while going out tugging her pallu.
While shaking my head i chuckled softly, Aapka kuch nhi ho sakta maa.
Bidding goodbye, I got into my car while my phone rang. I knew who it was at this time.
Aman...
"Kya yaar kaha hain tu? Are you even alive?"
"Yes unfortunately. I'm on the way." I replied while driving.
"Oye rukkk...call katne se pehle bta de rha hun mujhe pick karne aa ja. Mera car kharab ho gya hain."
" O bacchu....ab help chahiye meri? Chal aa rha hun" i shifted into drive and hung up.
