KATSEYE (캣츠아이) is a 7-member K-pop-inspired international girl group under Geffen Records and HYBE America. The group consists of Sophia, Manon, Azalea, Daniela, Lara, Megan, and Yoonchae. They were formed through the survival show The Debut: Dream Academy. They debuted on June 28, 2024, with the single "Debut" from their first EP, SIS (Soft is Strong).
Group Name Meaning: A cat's eye is a gemstone that is iridescent in color. The different colors within the gemstone represent the uniqueness of each member. The name was chosen from a list by the members, and the idea to change the "C" to a "K" was Lara's idea, to make the name look cooler.
