As night approached two figures travelled to a mysterious location, Unbeknownst to them this night their fate would change.
Giyu : We've reached Fushiki Village..
As he stopped to look around a familiar voice came from behind.
Kanae: Ara Ara.. Tomioka-san
Giyu : Hmm..

As he opened his mouth to reply a stranger screamed for help.
???: HELP SOMEONE !! PLEASE HELP ME !!
Giyu: It came from that way behind that rock be careful.
Kanae: I'll go forward please warn me if you find something .
Giyu : Got it.
As kanae approached , she found an old man with blood all over him. Giyu immediately started checking the area , while kanae checked the man.
Giyu: How bad is it?
Kanae: It's very bad.. His torso has been slashed, his right eye has been crushed,his lower body is almost gone and he's lost to much blood.... He's not going to make it.
???: Huh... who are you people..
He spoke as he opened his eyes to see 2 figures around him.
Kanae: Please calm down sir, We are demon slayers. You're in safe hands.

Kanae: Yes, Please tell us everything you know it would help a lot to save your daughter...
???: I was coming back from my work from the fields as normal..... Today i was late for home it was night time when suddenly I felt a chill down my spine...

After a while I crawled away screaming for help blindly and that's when you.....

As they had a moment of silence they rested the body near a tree praying for his soul before leaving.
Giyu : May your soul reach heaven...
Kanae: May your soul find peace....
After a few minutes of silence, they quietly left the sence.
Giyu : The trail of blood he left behind could lead us to the demon...
Kanae: It might be one of the 12 kizuki..... Judging from the way the old man described this isn't normal demon behavior..

They started following the trail of blood along the way. As they went through the forest they started finding trees covered in blood , human bones hanging on branches, ground covered with a cold sensation all over the place things on the way.

Kanae: The cherry Blossoms... They're everywhere just like the ice...
Giyu: The temperature is getting colder,we must be close...
Then suddenly an almost hypnotizing voice called out to them.
???: Oh!! Two Hashiras how lucky of me...
As the Voice echoed giving a icy chill down their spine ,Giyu and Kanae sensing the danger got into a fighting stance with their Blades out.
Giyu: Behind us at six o'clock...
Kanae: Got it.
As they turned around they a glimpse of the demons eyes...
