This is a complete work of fiction-basically mere dimag ka kaam. So if you find some things a little unrealistic, remind yourself that you are reading a FICTION. It is supposed to be fictional.

I will not tolerate unnecessary disrespect or constant comparisons to characters from other books. I understand that you may love certain characters and that some personalities might feel a little similar, but that does not mean you should start comparing them. It hurts the author a lot when they put effort into creating a character, only for that character to be known by the name of someone else's creation.

Yes, you may feel hatred towards a few characters, and that's completely fine. However, please mind your language in the comments because this is my comment section, not your WhatsApp group where you can dump trash.

Anyone who does not like the story is free to leave at any point or share their views. Constructive criticism is always welcome here, but please do not report the story. It might lead to the story being deleted, and I would prefer my hard work not to go in vain.

Book 1 of the Lost and Unspoken Series - The Silent Verdict

• Mentions of physical abuse, rape, and domestic violence. This also includes scenes that may be brutal or emotionally disturbing.

• It will contain bloodshed and horrific methods of death. If you are uncomfortable reading such content, I will provide warnings in the relevant parts of the chapters so you can skip them if you wish.

• This is a dark, brutal, mysterious thriller with romance. If you are here for smut, then sorry-you won't find any here. Yes, there will be romantic scenes, but not explicit smut. If you are the type of reader who expects romance in every single chapter, then this book might disappoint you. However, if you're a thriller girly, then stay.

• No one here is actually weak or completely innocent. And yes, I can proudly say that at many points the women in this book are stronger than the men. If you cannot handle a woman standing up for herself, then that's your choice.

• The men are strong too, but that doesn't mean they are emotionless robots without feelings. Male characters will express emotions as well. This story will also explore how society shapes both men and women as if they are pieces of clay that are not allowed to have even a single crack.

• Futuristic machines and technology may be used throughout the story-some inspired by reality and some completely imagined by me according to the requirements of the plot.

• There is a lot of trauma in this story too, so prepare tissues in advance, baby girls and baby boys.

• Multiple identities and many masks hiding a single face.

• A lot of twists and turns, so do not judge before completing a particular segment. Every twist will open a door to an entirely new world.

• There are a lot of characters. And when I say a lot, I mean a lot. Many of them will not be introduced in the character introduction section but will slowly appear throughout the story. Since it may become confusing, whenever a character appears after a long gap, I will mention how they are related to the main leads.

• Use of guns, knives, axes, chainsaws, hammers, and other weapons. There will also be mentions of chemicals and toxins-some real-life and some created by me according to the story's requirements.

• This is an enemies-to-lovers story, so there is no way you should expect sweetness right from the beginning. The romance is a slow burn-

"Dheemi aanch par seejhta hua ishq."

Or perhaps best described by the line-

"Tere ishq mein dard bada, mujhe dard achha lage."

• Yes, they become possessive after falling for each other, but not in a way that should make you uncomfortable. He may create problems in her life, but he will never use her dignity against her. Even as her enemy, he will never forget that she is a woman deserving of respect.

• She is the more dominant one and has quite a temper. She will try her absolute best to destroy him, so what you will witness is two powerful people constantly clashing in different fonts.

• I am not romanticizing kidnapping, guns, violence, or the use of weapons. You will see such things in the story because it is fiction, and these characters hate each other enough to destroy one another.

• A lot of dark secrets, painful pasts, and truths unknown even to most of the characters themselves.

• Unknown connections and a few mystical elements woven into the plot.
