The city lights shimmered beyond the glass walls of L-Corp.

Normally, Lena found comfort in that view.

Tonight, she hated it.

A half-empty glass rested in her hand.

The expensive whiskey burned going down.

She barely noticed.

Kara stood beside her in the picture.

Both of them laughing.

Her fingers tightened around the glass.

The pressure became painful.
