Tobias POV
I woke up to screaming. I bolted up. Will was chasing Christina out of the dorm. I got out of bed. Tris' cot was empty. It was perfectly made and there was a glass piece on the cot. I changed my clothes and slipped on my shoes. Matthew came rushing into the dorms.

"Have any of you seen Tris?" Matthew said

"No why?" I asked

"Oh my god. Check the glass." Matthew said

I grabbed the glass piece and turned it on. There was a note on the glass.

I can't be here anymore. Two things:
(1) four, I hate you and I'm leaving to die
(2) Christina, im so so sorry

"Can I see the camera footage from last night?" I asked

"Already checked. She left at about midnight. I wasn't sure if she came back." Matthew said

Tris POV
I walked into Dauntless. I walked around. I found Shauna. She froze.

"Tris?" She said

She ran over to me and hugged me.

"Where's everyone else?" She asked after she pulled away from me

"I came back by myself." I said

"Zeke and Uriah will be glad to see you. Come on." Shauna said

Tobias POV
I told Christina and Will that Tris left. We've been trying to figure out where Tris would've gone.

"Wait, she couldn't have gone far. I mean, there are only two places she knows. She wouldn't go anywhere she doesn't know." Will said

"That means she went back." I said

"Oh no." Christina said

"What?" I said

"What if she turned herself into Jack? I mean, she did mention you in the note." Christina said

Amar walked into the dorms.

"You figured it out yet?" Amar asked

"We think she may have turned herself into Jack. She said in her note that she thinks Four hates her. She could think that because Four doesn't love her anymore she has nothing left to live for." Will said

My blood boiled. I glared at Will.

"I think if Four didn't care about Tris anymore, he wouldn't be freaking out on the inside." Amar said

"We have to go. She's been gone for 8 hours now. She could be at least past Dauntless by now." Christina said

I got up and walked out of the dorms. I ran out of the compound with Will and Christina behind me. I jumped over the fence quickly and ran to Dauntless. I saw Shauna in the Pit. I jumped down.

"Four! Where have you been?" She asked

"Have you seen Tris?" I asked

"Her and Uriah went to the tattoo parlor a few minutes ago. I wouldn't go near her right now. Uriah is the only thing keeping her from killing herself." Shauna said
