After a few minutes, Zeke came up onto the roof.

"Hey, it's okay." Zeke said

"I didn't mean to say that. He is right Zeke. For once I'm wrong." I said

"You should get some rest. You didn't get any sleep last night." Zeke said

"Yeah." I whispered

We left the roof. I went back to my apartment. I laid down on my bed and went to sleep.

I woke late in the morning. I got up and put on a tank top and pants. I went to the cafeteria. I sat by Zeke and Uriah.

"How did you sleep?" Zeke asked

"Better." I said

"Good." Zeke said

"How are you feeling about the whole Four thing?" Uriah asked

"He's right. He was right all along. I am just a suicidal little girl." I whispered

"Don't say that. It's not true." Uriah said

"It's half true. I mean, I did sacrifice myself. I wanted to die for the longest time." I stood. "I need to go apologize to him."

I walked out of the cafeteria. I found Tobias in the Pit. I jumped down. He turned around.

"I'm sorry for overreacting. You were right." I said

"I'm not right. You are not suicidal. You are beautiful, selfless, smart, brave, divergent Tris. Nowhere does it say you are suicidal and controlling." Tobias said as he walked closer to me.

He pulled me close to him.

"I love you Beatrice Prior." He whispered

"I love you too Tobias Eaton." I whispered back

We walked back to the cafeteria with our fingers laced together. Uriah's mouth dropped open.

"You actually did it." He said

"I'm not a pansycake. Unlike some people." I said, looking straight at Uriah

We ate breakfast and laughed. After breakfast, we walked around.

"Cara developed a new serum and she wants to test it on you Tris." Christina said

I looked at Tobias. He gave me a quick smile.

"Sure." I said

We walked to Cara's apartment on the top floor of the Pire. We gave her he top floor with all the erudite equipment possible. She refused to go back to Erudite. When we got to Cara's apartment, she let us in immediately.

"Tris, sit in the chair." Cara said

I sat in the chair. It looked like the chair in the fear sim room. She pulled out a syringe filled with a discolored substance.

"What is it?" I asked

"It's a serum cocktail. Has a mix of peace, fear and truth. I have a serum to stop it if it's too much." Cara said

She injected it into my neck. I saw a man with no face grab Tobias and knock him out. I cried out for him. One by one, everyone in the room was knocked unconscious. Then, he pulled out a gun and shot Tobias.

Tobias POV
Tris was sitting in the chair, tears come out of her eyes. I wonder what she's seeing. Then she started screaming my name.

"TOBIAS NO! NO HOW COULD YOU!" She yelled

Something started beeping on Cara's monitor.

"Take her out!" I yelled

"I can't!" Cara yelled

Tris started to shake violently.

"Stop this!" I yelled

Cara injected the white antidote into Tris' neck. She stopped shaking. I rushed over to her side. She bolted up. She looked around.

Tris POV
I saw everyone but Tobias. I felt a hand on my back. I looked up to see Tobias with a worried look on his face. Tears streamed down my face as I buried my face in my hands.

"What did you do to her?" Tobias hissed

I sat up.

"I am never doing that again." I said

"Just one more thing. How are you able to resist death serum? It's not humanly possible." Cara said

"I am divergent and you can't control me." I said

She injected me with a purple substance. Death serum. I fell to the ground.

GET UP TRIS, I yelled to myself

I tried to stand up but I fell back down,

You can't die. You're too important. You can't leave tobias.

I stood up again only to fall back down.

"I'm gonna kill you Cara!" Christina yelled

I focused on fighting this. I used all of my energy left to stand up. I clung to Tobias to make sure I wouldn't fall again. I rested my head on his chest. Will rushed over behind me.

"Christina stop! Tris is fine look!" Will yelled as he pulled Christina off of someone, probably Cara

Christina looked at me. There was a glint of rage in her eyes. I was still trying to catch my breath. Tobias was holding me upright. I regained my balance and Tobias let me go. I saw Cara behind me covered in blood on the floor. Christina's knuckled were covered in blood. Cara's blood. Will has Christina restrained. I stepped over the syringes on the floor and left the Pire. Tobias, Christina and Will followed me out. I went back into the compound. Christina and Will went back to their apartment and I went to the training room. Tobias grabbed my arm and turned me around to face him.

"I'm sorry I just-" I started but tobias cut me off

"Tris stop. Are you okay?" He asked

"I'm just shaken up." I said

"I know it's more than that." He said
