22 ♡ Tears

After dragging ourselves out of bed we made it to the practise room right on time.
Taehyung was dancing around, making up his own little melody "It's melon day, it's melon day, it's melo-melo-melon day."
I knew he meant MelOn as in the showcase we were going to perform in tonight, but couldn't help but giggle.

A humming noise caught my attention as I turned my head towards Yoongi next to the mirrors.

Why is everyone in such a good mood?

I fixated on him humming a delightful tune to himself while pacing around. He flopped onto the black sofa on the side and just smiled to himself.

As soon as Namjoon sat down next to him to discuss tonight's performance Yoongi laced his arm around his shoulders and squeezed him from the side.

Namjoon's face was priceless.

When Yoongi caught my eye contact his face lit up.

"Laura! It's let me know day, it's theeeee song!"
"Are you sure that's the only reason you're this...excited?" Namjoon laughed while removing Yoongi's arm from around his shoulders.

Taehyung then immediately turned his head toward us and started singing his own deep version of Ice Cream Cake by Red Velvet while J-Hope danced the choreography.

I didn't quite understand what was going on.

Jimin gently poked me then whispered "Suhyun is coming to the showcase."

Ok...so he's glad Suhyun is coming to support us, but why are they singing...oh yeah, she works in an ice cream parlour.

"~Ice Cream, Ice Cream, gimme that gimme that ice cream!" Hobi ended, before they all went to softly punch and tease Yoongi.

"Aish!! You're all dead to me." Yoongi moaned while rubbing his arms in pain.

"Guys enough, let's start practise." Namjoon complained next to a bullied Yoongi.

"So after tonight's show we get the day off tomorrow, then the next day we have to drop you girls off at the airport." Jin reminded us, which completely dropped the mood in the room.

By this time the boys insisted on Rianna and I practising with them, for some reason they didn't want to practise Let Me Know in front of us.

Jungkook tried to quiet everyone down "Guys, stop. It's a surprise. Let's start already."

Rianna and Asma sat in the middle of Namjoon, Jin and Yoongi in a line at the front of the practise room.

Halfway through practising Beautiful I couldn't help but notice that there was mad eye tension going on between Rianna and Jungkook.

I can't wait to grill Rianna for kissing the maknae!

---6:15pm---

It was the first half of the showcase and I had never felt so nervous in my life. I watched from behind the curtains and looked out at the entire arena. Massive, all the boys were with me in the waiting room while Jimin was getting finishing touches.

Namjoon placed a hand on my back as I kept breathing in and out, trying to calm my jitters.

Suhyun approached us while we were sitting outside the dressing room doors. I hugged her tightly.
"You ok?" She asked, worried.
I replied with a quivering voice,"Yeah I'm sure I'll be fine, just got a little pre-show nerves."
She rubbed my arm reassuringly "I'm sure you'll do great, Laura fighting!"

Just then Yoongi emerged from the boys' dressing room and slipped past everyone to embrace Suhyun in a loving hug. I smiled at how even though Yoongi is quite small, they looked extra cute together because Suhyun was even smaller than him.
