Mysterious Fates (A Harry Potter Crossover)

All credits go to: J.K.Rowling (Harry Potter), CLAMP (Cardcaptor Sakura), Cressida Cowell (How To Train Your Dragon), Hanna-Barbara (Scooby-Doo), Craig McCraken (The Powerpuff Girls), Disney Channel (Suite Life) and Hiro Mashima (Fairy Tail).

With the exception of my OCs and the settings/places I personally create, I take no credit for the characters and settings taken from the respective canon whatsoever.

First off, I feel like this should be fairly obvious but Subha Patel is in no way related to Padma and Parvati Patil.

Trust me, "Patel" as a last name in India (esp in the north side) is the equivalent of "Kim" in Korea. Not to mention, JKR got the spelling of the twins' last name wrong anyway.

Also how to pronounce Subha's name:

Su-ba. (The "h" is silent.)

Secondly, if you know more than at least three of series involved, including Harry Potter, you're good to go! If not, that's okay. I will try to make the plot and characters understandable to the best of my ability. Knowledge of the series is not exactly necessary but recommended, as I'm just using the characters. The story follows the plot of the Harry Potter series but the rest of the the worlds I've joined together are essentially post-canon. However, some basic knowledge of the Harry Potter plot and universe is required to understand how I write this story and will probably help you in the long run.

All that said and done, I will do a more through editing of this story once I'm done with it, although I might make adjustments depending on which chapters I end up rereading XD

The cast list is on the next part so, hopefully you'll be able to keep track :)

Certain things to keep in mind considering the continuity of this fanfic:

1) Suite Life's part will be an AU due to the fact that I can't integrate the plot of the show with the HP universe as well as I want to, so only some core elements are being used, such as the main characters and some very general backstories.

2) Cardcaptor Sakura's recent sequel series (Clear Card Arc) started in June 2016 and after some debating, I've decided that CCS's part in the fanfic is going to take place after the events of the original series, not the sequel, although some of the new characters from the sequel might appear much later since I really like some of them. So yeah, CCS's part in continuity is going to be an alternative timeline of sorts.

3) HTTYD, with the series on the whole now having reached its end, is in a unique position considering its part in this fanfic. As of now, I've decided to not include the third movie to the canon of this fic. However, the ending of the dragons eventually going nearly extinct? That's still gonna be in play, mainly because of Fairy Tail's dragons...you know...dying.

4) I know the usage of The Powerpuff Girls is kind of out there, so while I tried to stay true to canon, some things are going to have to be changed around here and there. The location of Townsville will be moved from America to Britain, primarily because when creating this story, it was before Fantastic Beasts came out and Ilvermorny in America was created and changing this will irrefutably create a lot of consistency problems.

5) Ironically, Scooby-Doo is the one in this crossover with the least amount of changes. However, if anyone remembers the 2010 Scooby-Doo reboot, then it'll be fairly obvious that I'm using the characters from that reboot alone as well as which character out of the five gets the most focus in order to fit into the HP universe. A character or two from other incarnations (mainly the movies) might make it in if I have the space to do it.

6) I will switch POVs when the plot calls for it, but the change in POVs is going to be a little different. This fic is mostly going to be in Subha's POV so I won't be labeling the POV in the chapter when its just her. When there are multiple POVs in a chapter though, including her's, that's when you'll see the POVs labeled. With that in mind, I'm going to try to avoid using Harry's POV when writing known scenes from the books/movies, but during original parts of this story, this restriction will be chucked out the window.

Now we got all of that out of the way: Yes, I know this crossover is crazy. Yes, I know that this may be close to impossible. But this is more of a challenge for me and a very passionate project at that. I do hope that passion shines through my writing as you continue reading Mysterious Fates.

After seeing multiple stories of plagiarism here on Wattpad (The Draconian one in particular having caught me off guard), I have become very wary of the future of this story because I'm well aware that I don't have that much of a fanbase for people to recognize my writing and specific characters. I'm also wary of the fact that someone else can accuse me of plagiarizing when I'm really not (The sad life of a novice writer, I guess I should say).

Because of that, I politely ask you to not steal my characters/plot ideas because this is a story that's very dear to me and I'll be immensely disappointed to see someone else get credit for all the time that I put into this thing. If this ever happens, I will privatize future chapters or I'll give you hell. Whichever comes first. But I'll probably give you hell first.

So if you see a story under this exact same name with the exact same premise under a different username, please inform me immediately about it.
