Chapter 2

Loved waking up to this song!
I let my alarm play a little longer before I decided to roll over and turn it off
I had a big stretch and then jumped in the shower
Still blasting my music and singing along this time it was 'hell above' that was playing
"Cause this is a WASTELAND"
I am a terrible singer but I had to sing and have a little rock out session in my shower
I got ready for my day. I was kinda nervous about meeting my neighbours but it would be okay I'm a great person... I think...

I through I would introduce myself to the people on my floor and the people below
But first I went out to get a Starbucks
Caramel cream is my favourite can't resist
I knocked on the door across from me and I took a sip of my drink before this tall about 5ft something opened the door I nearly fainted
"Hey there!!" His voice sounded exactly how i expected it too
His black hair was luxurious and I held back my inner fangirl
"Hi! My name is Rachel I live across the hall from you! I thought I would introduce myself" I played it smoothly and hopefully he never heard me playing ptv last night until the early hours
"Hi Rachel I'm Jaime Preciado.. Please do come in"
I had just been invited into Jamie's apartment the bass player for my favourite band of all time! I decided that I would stay calm and pretend that I didn't know who they were!!
As I entered I was greeted by the rest of the band playing call of duty
They were sitting on the ground having a battle
"Guys this is Rachel she is our new neighbour.. Lives across the hall"
Tony paused the game and they all came over to greet me! I had froze I had no idea what to say!
I can't remember how to speak! How do I stand! Stop it Rachel!! Stay calm
"Hi Rachel I'm Tony.. This is vic and Mike" he pointed to them and they waved
They are even more attractive in person
"Hi! It is really nice to meet you" I took a sip of my drink trying to hide the fact that I knew their names I knew they were in a band and that I have listened to them for years..!!
"Nice!" Mike said as he walked over to me
"Caramel cream! My favourite"
I shared a common like for something with Mike Fuentes! I couldn't take it! I just looked at him and blushed
"You have a lot of guitars there! Do yous like playing?" I asked as I walked over to them the guitars to admire them before turning round to look at my idols looking at me smiling with a cheeky smile
"Hey Rachel! You trying to play it cool?" Vic asked
"Busted" I started to laugh
Jamie slowly walked over to me and placed his arm round my shoulder
"Great way to make a impression on the neighbours of the building you have just moved into is to blast pierce the veil until the early hours of the morning!!"
He started to laugh then I blushed
"Oh god did I keep you all awake" I questioned hoping I didn't and hoping they didn't hear me singing in the shower this morning
"No you didn't! We weren't home! We were coming back from a little gig with
sleeping with sirens that we were playing at and heard it blasting out your apartment" Tony responded
Pierce the veil were playing last night and I still didn't go
That's the problem when you have no one to go with because your boyfriend judges your music and hates the music you listen to!!
I was hoping they didn't ask me if i was there
"Rachel did you watch us play last night?" Jamie questioned with a smile on his face
Dam!!
I had fancied Jamie since the first time i listened to ptv and when he asked me he just looked at me! His eyes were so big
"Em. You are my favourite band of all time and this is embarrassing but I have never been to your concert before, in fact I haven't been to any concerts before! Life sucks"
Dam why did he have to ask that question! I felt so embarrassed
"Don't be embarrassed not everyone can make concerts! Put it this way! You haven't been to a concert but now you living across the hall from your favourite band" vic sharply responded before walking towards me and hugging me
I nearly melted
"Is this really happening? It doesn't feel real I think I am dreaming!
"Want me to pinch you" Mike questioned while softly laughing
After awhile of talking to them getting to know me I gave up on the idea of getting to know the rest of my neighbours as they asked if i wanted to join the for dinner!
I couldn't refuse... They ordered pizza
I sat down next to Jamie and I got talking about tattoos
"I love your tattoos! They are so colourful! How many do you have?" Jamie was so interested in me
" lots haha! That's my sleeve and countless over my body" as I stared to show Jamie and Tony my tattoos I looked at the clock
The pizza wasn't here yet but I had to leave
"Oh god! I have to go!" It was nearly 5 and Freddy would be at my door any minute
"But we just ordered pizza" Jamie looked really sad as I got up of the couch
"I know! I am really sorry guys! This was possibly the best day of my life but Maybe I can hang out with you all another day and we can get food?"
I looked at them all before Jamie got out his phone
"Here is my number and text me!"
I entered his number in my phone before I gave my number to the rest of them!! I hugged them all goodbye and left
This was the best day of my life

I smiled as I was over to my apartment
Just as I got in the door Freddy knocked
I had no idea how he was going to react when I told him I met my favourite band I wasn't sure if he could care..
