"Mom! Teach me another one! "

The sun shined down in the beautiful city of Vale. Citizens roamed the area, with one area towering over the city in the distance.
Beacon Academy, home to the world's promising future Huntsmen and Huntresses.
Throughout Remnant, plenty of schools exist for both regular citizens and those who wish to fight for humanity. From Vale to Vacuo, Atlas, and Mistral, all have their own schools to test and raise inspiring young men and women to become protectors of humanity against the deadly creatures known as Grimm.
However, many of these young men and women are kept in the dark about what they really are going against. While much of Remnant is known, there are only a few parts not known nor traveled to the regular residents or some professionals.
One area is covered to the brim with Grimm, either walking around the area or tearing each other apart for amusement. Beyond them lies a castle, to the woman behind it all, a woman who's been here for a millennium; only a few people know of her existence, and that selected group are working to find a way to keep her away.
The other area is closed off; not much is known of this area, not even of its ruler. It's secluded by a massive barrier that keeps it hidden from Droids to find it.
However, its ruler has rumors of its own: an incredibly intelligent, dangerous individual whose plans are unknown to Remnant itself.
Atlas military has attempted to learn of this kingdom for years, yet every time they send men there to infiltrate..
None ever return.

A familiar girl with black hair fading into her red tips and bright silver eyes ran through the halls of Beacon with a bright smile on her face. At the end of the hall was a girl who had her arms crossed; she grew an annoyed expression as she spotted the other girl running towards her. As she slowly moved from her position, the silver-eyed girl stopped in her tracks as she began to stammer out her words.
"Sorry, Weiss, I forgot we were supposed to be training today!!"
She yelled out in dismay. Weiss covered her ears and flicked the other onto her face. Her white hair swayed as she stared the girl down.
"Ruby, I told you countless times what our schedule was! I get you're excited and satisfied we took down Torchwick, but you need to calm down and actually process the things I say!"
She pinches her cheek. Ruby winced in pain and playfully shook her arms to try and get Weiss away from her. She gently let go of her cheek as she sighed.
"Where are Blake and Yang? I thought you were going to ask them to join us?" She asked softly. Ruby kept silent and rubbed the back of her neck nervously.
"Blake wanted to go and get a book she had pre-ordered in Vale...Yang... she didn't tell me where she was going, just told me she had some unfinished business... but she'll be back tonight!"
Ruby replies with a small smile and a nervous chuckle, at which Weiss slowly facepalms and groans to herself. She is surrounded by a bunch of children.
"Ugh...fine...Just come on, Ruby...."
A sigh escapes her lips as Ruby gleefully walks off with her to the training area.
Meanwhile, Yang, a young woman with long golden hair and lilac eyes, stood by the edge of the Academy. She was going through some messages on her scroll, stopping at the text of Ruby asking her to join her and Weiss for a training exercise. Her eyes lowered for a moment. As she responded, the wind began to pick up; her golden hair flowed as she could hear the sound of footsteps approaching her. Once she turned, she spotted the woman she was waiting for. A middle-aged woman who looked similar to Yang, with red eyes, long black hair, and a sword by her side.
