One long word : SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRY!!!!!

Two days later, news got around that we broke up.

And in that two days the story was revised more times than the Oxford Dictionary.

The many variations of the story made me laugh.

Jesse broke up with me because I wouldn't sleep with him. Another version said that he broke up with me because I wasn't good in bed. Another version said that he broke up with me because he missed his ex girlfriend. Anyways, all the versions had one similar element. Jess was the one who broke up with me. Not one version detailed me breaking up with him.

The commotion in the locker room as I walked in on was unsurprising.

Every single single girl was fluffing up her appearance, tugging down her v-line blouse to expose more cleavage and clowning up their face with more red lipstick.

It seemed like the Jesse hunt had started.

All of them looked at me, smirked before turning to spritz some more perfume.

I do not envy Jesse a bit. Actually I think he's prefer the attention given the hate I'd given him for kissing me.

That day, I couldn't think properly when I got home.

Why did he have to go and ruin everything? The plan was going along perfectly.

Daemon was slowly coming around.

Slowly, but still he was coming around.

And why in all that is perfect timing, did he have to steal my first kiss?

I have to admit, one major reason I snapped was because it was my first kiss.

Heck, I'd been planning my first kiss since I was old enough to get over the whole 'Boys are eew' stage.

It would be with someone I liked. With a movie scene background and the whole butterfly in your tummy feeling.

That someone later adjusted to the identity that was Daemon Matthews.

But then it ended up being the person next door that liked me as much as I him. That is zilch. At most tolerable.

I changed into my gym clothes and headed out, leaving behind the desperate fans of that Archer.

"Saaaan!"

I jumped as Jenny came running to me before throwing herself on me.

"Jenny, I need to breathe," I said as I tried to loosen her grip on me.

"I'm sorry about that asshole brother of mine. I'm so sorry," she said as she released me. "Did he really break up with you because of Lauren?"

I stared at her blankly. "What do you think?"

She thought over it for a second before she smiled. "Pssh! Nah! He can't stand the sight of her now. So why'd you guys break up then?"

I just shrugged. I still felt bad about leaving her out of the loop.

"Did the idiot show you his Marvels action figures collection?" Her eyes widened. "I told him not to. That idiot! Or did you finally realize my brother's a loser and decide to ditch him?"

I laughed at their twin rivalry before shaking my head. "Just, difference in opinion I guess."

"Don't worry about that, San. He'll come crawling back to you in no time," she said before she ran ahead into the gym.
