The rest of the ride was smooth. Me and Cole had exchanged a few light words, but most of the time we were minding our own business. It was as if both of us wanted to talk to each other, but there was really nothing to say. I wondered how the hell Cole's friends talked to him. I mean, there was absolutely nothing to talk about.

What was I even supposed to say, how was your day today? What's your favorite color?

Finally, Nicole's grand mansion came in view. I couldn't help but gasp at the amount of cars that were in the driveway and lining up on the sides of the road. We came just on time for the party starts but there was already so many people here. I could hear Cole swear under his breath when he saw what I saw.

Then in the corner of my eye, I saw a spot. The person must have left really early or something since it was only 9 o'clock. I thanked the Lord and then pointed over to the area, Cole looked at destination and let out a light smile before parking. Then we both opened our doors, and stepped outside. I wore nice black platformed converse shoes, which I absolutely adored. I loved how my feet felt in them as I stood up.

Then me and Cole began to walk down the sidewalk and up Nicole's driveway. But before we could reach the door, I stopped. Cole looked over to the side and down at me curiously, probably wondering why I stopped walking.

I gave him a nervous smile, "we got to go in all coupley you know?"

He thought for a moment before nodding. Then he put his toned arm on my shoulders, I was overwhelmed by his cologne but not to the extreme. Just enough to make me melt a bit. I couldn't help but blush myself, which surprised me a lot. I usually never blushed, the only time I did - was when I was with Daniel.

I took a deep breath before opening the door. Usually I rung the doorbell when coming in, but this was a huge party and everyone was allowed, it wasn't exclusive. I could see people socializing and holding red cups or beer bottles everywhere. Since the party just started, I knew they were all sober but you could smell a hint of alcohol in the air. I had a feeling this was going to be a crazy party.

I smiled and we both stepped inside, both unsure of where to go. I mean, it wasn't like Cole socialized with the rest of the students. And I, had quite a picky taste when it came to friends.

Actually, I just befriended people that were not fake bitches. Which is apparently very hard for the people at Valley Heights, honestly they were all superficial. I mean please, can you at least withstand one day not talking shit about your best friend, or telling people your friend's secrets. It was as if girls craved to have unnecessary drama with their close friends. Me and Maya would never do that to each other because we were sane. Devryn on the other hand... Well she wasn't considered to be a friend in my eyes anyways.

Unfortunately, not to long after we stepped into the house, Nicole came running in her platform high heels. She was also wearing a circle skirt with a sports bra. She sadly made a - should be - classy outfit into a trashy one. A disgrace to whomever designed the different pieces.

She swooped in and gave Cole a huge hug. I couldn't help but glare at her, I mean even if I wasn't actually dating him, it was a bad move of her. Plus, she didn't know that we were fake dating. Therefore, she was acting downright disrespectful and whoreifying.

See what I did there? Sorry, I apologize.

The hug lingered longer than it should've been. Thankfully Cole wasn't hugging her back and was just standing there awkwardly, waiting for her to let go. While Nicole was hugging Cole as if he was a huge stuffed teddy bear, the ones you win at the carnival. But her hands were getting real close to his butt.
