"Get off of me, you jackass!", I hissed as the feeling of being too close to him made me hot and dizzy. The strobe lights in the club were making me tremble as they made my eyes ache. He only squeezed me tighter making me gasp from lack of oxygen. "Please, Ezra. Let me go! I need to leave now!"

He ignored me as his lips pressed to my pulse point. My heart racing as he breathed deeply the scent that he promised He couldn't get enough of. I don't want to be a Singer. I want to be the love of his life, the love of his Soul, and the love that he would die without. Not by blood, but by choice.

"I need you, mi Amor. Stay with me. Stay..."

I shook my head, tears clouding my vision as I pushed him away. He was the good, the bad, and the ugly. I had seen it all. Now I wanted him to choose and to commit to me.

"You don't love me. You love a scent that my blood creates for you. I need to get away...from you," I ripped my arm from his and took some steps back as he watched in shock. My words were harsh and they struck him right in the chest. Good, I had been the only one with the feelings at this point.

"I'm no longer Yours. Leave me alone!"

Three weeks later, I was on the next available flight to Port Angeles and from there a drive into Forks.

My world had been spun upside down with Ezra coming into my life. Renee kicked me out after discovering my drinking and drug problems. So I moved into a studio apartment closer to the city and that's when I stumbled upon Ezra.

He told me that he was not human from the moment we met. I didn't care I loved a thrill. Something new and different. There was never a dull moment with Ezra, my vampire lover.

"Come again," I heard as I hopped off the plane when it landed in Port Angeles.

There was hardly any Sun, so I removed my sunglasses and laid them atop my curls. A car off to the side waited for me. I showed the driver my ID and payment receipt which he carefully looked over before getting out and handing me the keys.

My bags were stashed in the trunk and I was off to my childhood home where hopefully Charlie and Izzy are waiting. My mom already alerting them of my oncoming stay at the house.

She probably warned Charlie about my drinking, but that had went down considerably. I was no longer waking up on people's front lawns with one shoe and no idea what happened to my bra. Those moments in my life dropped to once a month when I was with Ezra.

"You're destination is on the right," The GPS told me as I entered the Swan house yard. There were no formal cement driveways.

My bags were stacked as I looked up at the big house and crossed my arms over my chest. The paint was peeling and there were leaves in the gutter. I would love to do some renovating because it always took my mind off of stuff that stressed me out.

"Hey kiddo. I thought you were going to make it tomorrow," Charlie got out of the squad car and gave me a tight bear hug.

I smiled widely as I returned it with just as much enthusiasm. My dad was amazing as a child and hopefully his playful manner had not dimmed with Izzy around. She used to be the biggest party pooper ever.

"Where's my sister from another mister?"

"Hey now! Besides, Bella's over at the Cullens... with Edward."

Charlie made a face and I almost snickered at the obvious distaste he had for Izzy's boyfriend. She was the awkward one, so why was he so worried about her moving too fast. I need to check this Edward guy out quick.

"Let's get you set up. Shall we?", I nodded as we each grabbed two bags and headed to the door.

Making sure to lock up the rental, I removed my cell phone, iPod, and wallet from the car.

We sat down at the kitchen table once I stashed my stuff in my bedroom between Izzy's and my dad's. He had even bought me new bedsheets which were my favorite, red and black. I wanted to talk to him before he started lecturing me about rules and boundaries.

"I'm not drinking anymore, if that's one of your many stipulations to me staying here. I haven't take any pills that weren't prescribed to me either. Mom probably told you my problems but has she ever mentioned a solution with you. To fix me. To fix what I obviously broke."

Charlie looked bewildered by my outburst. He gave me that look like when I was younger. It meant if anyone was to blame, then it was him. I didn't believe that. Renee made him feel that way. Izzy made him feel that way.

"This arrangement is what you needed, right? No one forced you. I just think that you need to take a breather. Your mom told me you have been travelling a lot. How's that going with school and all?", Charlie, the number one Dad, tried to keep the conversation simple. I could follow his lead easily. "No one forced me, Dad. I have travelled to Paris, Rome, Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Rio, Tokyo, and Hawaii. There is this schooling program that I do online which is tuition-free actually."

I was proud of myself for that. My diploma may not come from walking across a stage or giving a speech, but I would have one. That's all that matters in the end.

My dad grinned at that. He gave me a high five knowing how I loved our little circle of trust.

"Okay, pizza's on me. Meat Lover's Special XL for the Princess and Veggie Deluxe for the Old Man."

"Let me change and I'll be down to start the movie. Do you still have Shoot 'Em Up?", I rushed to get ready for our impromptu movie night.

This was why I missed Forks.
