Chapter 1 : Breaking The News

Jiyeon's P.O.V

*ring*ring* I was awake by the sound of the alarm. I open my eyes to be blind by the morning sunlight that was making my eyes burn. When I finally adjust to the sunlight, I got up from ny bed and went to the bathroom. After I finished taking my shower I wear my favourite sweater and a pair of denim shorts

When I finished doing my hair I went towards the kitchen. Suddenly my phone was ringing signaling someone is calling,

"Hmm who could it be?" I said while taking out my phone from the back my shorts pocket ans see who was calling. When I saw the ID was umma I slide to answer.

"Annyeong Umma, why are you calling me in a sunday morning?" I asked my mom.

"Hey sweetie, aww couldn't a mother call her daughter anytime she wants?"

I know she was pouting on the other side and I couldn't help but chuckle at my umma's behaviour.

"Aww umma you know I didn't mean it that way right?"

I could hear umma giggled at the other side, "I know sweetie~ I was playing with you~. Anyway the reason umma was calling you in the morning is to tell you that your appa and umma decided that we miss you so much and we wanted to call you over for dinner tonight. Are you okay with that?"

"Mmm, yeah why not and I miss you guys so much! I can't wait for tonight. Oh and don't forgot to make my favourite food ok umma?!" Umma was laughing and I couldn't help but smile hearing her laughed. Ahh~ I miss my parents alot!

"Haha arasso. Umma will make sure to make it. Oh and make sure to wear your nicest dress ok? Because your appa's company partner's family would be coming over to have dinner with us also."

"Mmm arroso, see you tonight umma annyeong saranghaeyo!" giving her a kissing voice while laughing. My mom also said her bye and I Love You while chuckling at my behaviour.

I shut my phone and put it back into my pocket and continued to make my way to the kitchen. I open the fridge looking at what I have seeing that I didn't have much since I haven't went to the grocery store this week. I just grab what I can make and started to prepare my breakfast.

Turns out to be just a simple american breakfast, egg scramble, toast and a cup of an orange juice. When I've done eating, I wash my dishes and dried them. After finished I looked at the clock, ' OMG! It's 12:30! I'm going to be late if I don't reach the cafe before 1:30!'

I ran to my room and grab my beg and my white beanie that was laying on top of my study table. Grabbing the things I needed I ran to the front door and put my black and white converse on and went out and locked the door and started to race down the streets.

Successfully avoided any accident I reach my work place at 1:20. "Phew~ that was close." I went in the cafe from the back door since we weren't allowed to use the front door. I quickly changed my clothes into my working uniform.

"Jiyeon-ah can you take over my place pretty please? I gotta go somewhere today. Oh and I've told the boss that your taking my place today." Hyorin my bestfriend say while giving me her best puppy eyes knowing that I couldn't resists it. I just sigh and nod at her.

"But your buying me a new dress" I said

"Ok I'll buy you the most beautiful dress that you ever see! Thank you soon much Jiyeon-ah sranghae!" she said while hugging me tightly. After returning her hug she quickly make her way to the staff room while I went to the cashier since it's Hyorin's place.

People went in people went out and the day starts to become dark. My shifts was over at 6. When the clock turn 6 I quickly went to the the staff room after bowing to the workers that still have their shift.
