Wendy x Mest {Fairy Tail}

(Okay guys before I start. I changed Wendy's age to where she is Mest's age because otherwise it would be kinda pedophile, but not this way ^-^)

Wendy had been Coughing pretty bad for a few days since she went on the mission to help heal at the hospital. Carla was pretty worried but Wendy assured her cat she was fine. She walked to the guild that day and sat with Lucy and Levy. She began to feel if bit dizzy and really cold. "Lucy... Is it cold in here to you?" She asked since Lucy was less covered than she was.

"No, actually it's really hot in here. But it is the middle of the summer, what can you do?" She shrugged "Are you cold? Are you okay?"

"Y-Yeah, I'm freezing." She said rubbing her hands on her arms and shivering. Lucy put a hand on her head and it was burning up so much it almost burnt her hand.

"Ouch! Okay, you have a fever. We'll get Mest to run you home really quickly." She called over Mest

Mest ran over to them "Yeah? What's up?" He asked

"Hey, Mest, Wendy has a terrible fever! Just take her home and get an Ice bath made for her right away, you need to cool her off." Mest's face fell and them became determined.

"Of course." He picked up Wendy bridal style "You comfortable?" He asked and Wendy just blushed and nodded. Mest teleported to her home and set her down on the bed. "I'm going to prepare the Ice Bath okay?"

Then Mest left and clogged the tub and put the cold water on. He went into the kitchen and got two buckets worth of ice and went back to the bathroom. He filled it the tub with the ice and turned the water off. He walked back to Wendy's room. "The Ice bath is ready can you walk?" Wendy nodded and stood up. She was really wobbly though and Mest worried. He wrapped an arm around her shoulder and helped her walk.

Shocked, Wendy questioned him "M-mest?"

"I just wanna make sure that you get there without falling on your face" he said with a small chuckle.

Wendy blushed "I wouldn't fall on my face!!" She protested as they walked into the bathroom

"You sure, you were pretty wobbly back there." Once she hand her hand on the counter and he was sure she wasn't going to fall over he let go of her. Wendy walked over to the tub and looked back at Mest, and she just looked at him for a little bit "What?" He asked wondering what he did

"Get out!!" She yelled "Creeper"

"Oh right! I forgot!" He said with a blush and headed out the door "I'll go make dinner" He said nervously and closed the door and headed to the kitchen. He started to make some soup for her when she got out.

"Brrr" Wendy said as she took her clothed off and got into the tub. "It's so cold, but if I don't I might die" she said encouraging herself to keep going.

Meanwhile, back at the guild, Levy looked at Lucy "You didn't need Mest to teleport her, she lives in Fairy Hills. We could have taken her." She said

Lucy just smirked "No way, those two definitely like each other. They just need a little push. Like a sick partner." She said "Five jewel say they kiss tonight" She said

Levy looked at her with a smirk "Not tonight, Wendy is too shy for that" she said and shook Lucy's hand on their little bet. "But I agree that it will happen at some point"

Back at Fairy Hills, Mest knocked on the door to the bathroom "Hey, are you feeling better?" He asked

"Mostly cold" She shivered "I can't really tell if it has helped or not" She admitted

Mest nodded. "Do you mind if I come in and feel you're forehead?" He asked "I shouldn't be able to see anything with the ice in the way, but I won't look anyways"

She nodded "Okay, just look at the floor until you get over here, then close your eyes" She said her cheeks turning light pink. Mest walked in and stared at the floor as he was instructed. He held his hand out and closed his eyes when he got close and Wendy put his hand on her head.

"You still feel a bit hot, but you don't need to stay in there anymore. You've cooled off" Mest said. Wendy nodded as Mest turned around and left. She was pretty sure most of that heat was from her bright red blushing face. She got out of the bath, dried off, and put her clothes back on. She walked out and an amazing and delicious smell hit her nose like a truck.

"What did you make Mest?" she asked coming out of the hallway and into the kitchen

"Oh, just some soup. I heard it's good for sick people" He said and poured two bowls out and put on in front on her, then handed her a spoon. "So why can't you heal yourself?" He asked

"Oh, the healing magic doesn't work on my own body" She said taking a few sips of her soup "Besides, I wouldn't be able to get a good angle for most of me" She explained

"Oh that's a shame" he said and a silence fell between them for about ten minutes. It wasn't an awkward silence. It was a comfortable one, just enjoying each other's company. Then Mest finally spoke up. "You know... Nevermind"

This only made Wendy curious "What? You can tell me anything" She said pressing a little bit. Mest sighed and looked her in the eyes.

"I was just really worried about you. The reason Lucy had me put you in the ice bath was because your fever was so high it was life threatening." He said and looked down at his soup, suddenly not feeling hungry.

"Yes, but I'm okay now because you took care of me." She said, still looking at him "Thank you..." she said softly

"Of course!" He said shocked "Of course I'll help you.... I-I really care about you Wendy." He said and blushed deeply.

"Mest..." She began but couldn't find the words. Mest stood up and walked around the counter.

"Wendy, I really like you and I would like to become yours if you will have me" Wendy was so shocked that she couldn't make words she simply kissed him on the lips. The kiss was like magic, yet it only lasted for a bliss minute before Wendy broke off and covered her mouth "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! If I kiss you, you'll get sick!" She said through her hands.

Mest shook his head and removed her hands from her mouth, "I don't care" He said and kissed her again, more passionate and softer.

Epilogue: Mest got sick within a few days and had to go to his girlfriend to get healed.
