"It's fine. Part of process."

Reza smiled—grateful, warm.

Kemudian conversation shift slightly.

"By the way, Bian... kamu available weekend depan?"

Bian looked up. "Kenapa?"

"Ada small networking event untuk startup founders dan creatives. Thought it might be good for you—bisa expand connections, potential clients. Mau ikut?"

Networking event. For business.

Sounds... reasonable.

Tapi something about the way Reza said it...

"Aku... aku gak terlalu suka event gitu," jawab Bian carefully. "Crowded places, small talks... not my thing."

"Ah, understandable. Aku juga sebenernya introvert kok." Reza laughed. "Tapi sometimes you gotta push boundaries, you know? For growth."

Gentle pressure.

"I'll think about it," kata Bian.

"Sure. No pressure. Tapi kalau kamu mau, I'd love to have you there. Mungkin kita bisa go together, jadi gak sendirian."

Together.

Bian felt... something.

Discomfort? Or...

"I'll let you know," kata Bian, closing the topic.

"Cool." Reza didn't push further.

Tapi ada shift in the air.

Something slightly less professional.

Slightly more... personal.

Bian notice.

Dan di belakang kepalanya, alarm berbunyi pelan.

Minggu kedua.

Deadline approaching (tinggal 4 hari).

Bian stuck.

Revisions Reza request ternyata lebih complicated dari yang dia expect.

"Bisa less corporate tapi still professional?"

"Bisa lebih vibrant tapi not overwhelming?"

Contradictory requests yang bikin Bian frustasi.

Dia spent berjam-jam di depan laptop, mencoba berbagai iterations.

Nothing feels right.

Creative block kembali.

"Kenapa aku gak bisa ngelakuin ini?" gumam Bian, frustasi, mengacak rambutnya.

Hape-nya bunyi—text dari Reza.

Reza: "Progress gimana? Aku excited liat final version! 😊"

Pressure.

Bian: "On track. Final draft siap 2 hari before deadline"

Bohong.

Dia belum punya final draft yang satisfactory.

Reza: "Can't wait! Aku yakin it'll be amazing. Kamu talented kok"

Compliment that supposed to encourage, tapi somehow bikin Bian lebih anxious.

"What if aku gak bisa deliver? What if dia disappointed?"

Dia tidak mau mengecewakan client—especially client yang bayar segitu banyak.

Bian bekerja non-stop.
